Its very sad. These kids have such opportunity presented to them and they go and act stupid. How many times has it happened and still the younger ones do not learn.
I'm always amazed at the football players who have this opportunity and then act so stupid and blow it. [But then, I also just realized that the majority of players aren't at college to get an education.]

so many of our area kids have the talent ... and just not the 'smarts'... i hate it... i would LOVE for the area athletes to follow their talents. each time something like this happens, it makes it harder for the next one to even get an offer.

I think he asked to be released because he wanted more playing time and I guess he couldn't beat out the people ahead of him at Alabama. It didn't have anything to do with him getting in trouble before he left for Alabama.

It doesn't say anything about him getting into trouble before he left Alabama. It said he was jailed twice in the 2 months before leaving for Alabama. That would be before he ever hit campus in 2013.
