I thought Best Buy was a wonderful place to look around and actually see a device before ordering it online.

that is just unethical,, companies have to pay people for you to do research to buy somewhere else.  Then they go under.  A friend that sold cars used to complain about people who would take his time to get info on what car they wanted, then go shop else where for best deal. In his situation he only got paid if he sold a car, so was a volunteer in people's car search.

not to mention on line hurts local jobs.  Guess one could also call it theft of services.  Plus these same low lifes probably buy coffee, soda, etc. at 1000% mark up.  I for one don't believe the few dollars one saves is worth it.  A not to smart person I know bragged about saving $100 going thirty miles away to buy a car. $100 on a $20,000 car is what percent? haha.  Government and union employees are the worse.  They shop online and else where taking away tax dollars then want a raise.

I like to buy where I can see what I am getting, and have somewhere to go back to for help and/or advice if I have problems with the product....or need to return it.

Oh dear, if shopping around for the best price on something is unethical then I guess I am guilty as charged and should change my ways and never buy anything outside of the town I live in. No more driving to Florence for groceries, or across the river for clothing... And my personal standard of not dealing with a store that has rude or uninformed salespeople will have to be abandoned.
I am ashamed of myself and have been converted to your way of thinking. And I sincerely hope you never run low on gas while in a neighboring town or county and wind up having to walk home.

Oh dear, how embarrassing for you, you're slipping. You can buy groceries online now and will never again have to be bothered by rude salespeople whose only mission in their life, apparently, is to make your life miserable.....because it seems that surely they have no idea of your superiority, even though  I am sure you have told them enough times. We need to put you back in moth balls and not bother your sensitive nature again.

Hahahaha....good one!  However, a result of the life I've lived is that I don't embarrass easily.
And since moth balls keep snakes away, that may be something to consider, but that pesky smell!  My preferred fragrance is White Linen. Gentlemen seem to like it. My second preferred fragrance is plain ol' 'Nillar Abstract. Gentlemen seem to like that one too.

Has anyone here shopped at both Best Buy and Electronic Express before? I am curious what to expect with the new store and if there are any big differences in what Best Buy and Electronic Express carries?

My brother who lives in Tennessee seems to prefer Electronic Express over its competitors. I don't know since I've never shopped there, but since it's headquartered in Nashville, it might be run by nicer people than its competitors.

Getting back from meandering:  Electronic Express has been in business many years in the Nashville area starting up in the malls.  I lived there at the time, and remember them because they were one of the few Mid-Eastern owned businesses in the late 80's.  As far as I know, it's still a family run business.

Of course now, the Nashville retail market for everything is very diverse.
