Error in Judgement or Lie

What is wrong with people today? It seems to me that you can pretty much sue over anything now. I hit my foot on my mother in laws table last night should I sue? Why no. Now this woman out right lied and now she expecting to be rewarded for her actions?? It would have been better for her to feel embarrassed for a short period of time then praised for her work then to lie about it. Now she has to be embarrassed all over again.

The term "successful stockbroker" and "Citigroup" do not go together!

So, she can get in line with all the other creditors, if she wins.

Most companies like that have morals clause that is rather broad and would cover this. In short, lying--in this case falsifying credentials-- is grounds for dismissal. But you are right--people will sue for anything! (And sometimes win!)

It is that magic word we learned as a child when we got taken to the wood shed, "consequences". Every decision has them. Looks like she made a few bad decisions.

If she get her job back, this country will have really sunk to an all time low!

That's just it, Dixie, she already had the job. Why lie? I've been trying to do a little work on a Masters Degree, and the money just isn't there. A lot of people ask me if I have one, and I could easily lie, but that's just it: it would be a lie. Liars never win.

The company should be suing her to recover wages obtained under false pretense. This employee committed fraud against her employer.

Fire -- you and I are opposite -- I have the degree, but the jobs are not there around here...If I wanted to move somewhere else I could get a job probably, but with the world these days, I'd rather stay close to home and family and the life I love...
