Evolution and Creationism is not even in the same ballpark. One is science and one is religion. Evolution doesn't try and discredit religion, it doesn't even touch upon it. It is a matter of facts, proven facts!

As for some kind of proof of evolution look at the evolution of bacteria. There are bacterias that have changed and adapted to antibiotics. What used to control them or eradicate them no longer work. They have evolved. You can actually see this under a microscope. That is a fact. Just one of many in the world of evolution.

If someone wants to believe that god created the first living beings on earth then go right ahead. There is no proof to say otherwise. However evolution has and does occur everyday and can be proven.

If someone wants to believe that there is no god then they have as much proof on their side as well.

In other words its a matter of opinion, but evolution is FACT.

I personally don't believe in the existence of the biblical god. I am waiting on more answers from science on where and how the earth was created and life was formed. I feel that science is getting closer everyday and I am open to anything that can be proven to me with enough evidence. Somethings we believe now will be proven wrong I am sure, however new evidence will be found and we will further understand our origins. If you don't want to know the hows and whys then thats your decision. I can't understand that way of thinking but then to each his own I guess.

I actually can respect Sofa and thenagel's opinion on this matter. Even if we don't agree about the god factor. At least they do not deny one over the other. That way of thinking is just simply being ignorant of the facts and refusal to accept what is truly known.

Evolution progressed for many millions of years, creating dinosaurs, birds, mammals, Creationists, and finally humans.
