I was wondering the very same thing!!! That is why so much molestation crap is going on around here, because they give them a slap on the wrist & send them off to do it again, but usually it is much worse the 2nd or 3rd time around!!! Makes me sick!

As for Hanson, with good time he will serve about 30 months at mose and be eligible for parole in less than a year.

this is a crock of crap. the drug dealer got what he deserved but the rapest should have gotten life. that guy ruined 2 little girls lives and all he got was freaken 14 months. that judge must not have all his marbles when he handed down these sentences. thats why there is more rapest than theives and drug dealers. all a cowerdly rapest gets is a slap on the freaken wrist. they are monsters who should be exiled from society!

I foyu read the article you will see that the family agreed to this sentence to spare the children from having to testify. The judge only imposed the sentence that was agreed to by the the victim's family and the defendent. I'm willing to bet there was also a weak case against this defendent and this might have been a better result than if they went before a jury. The drug dealer might have gotten such a severe sentence because of a strong case against him plus enhancements for selling near a school or housing project.
