Thomas elaborated on Obama as God, patronizingly explaining: "He's going to bring all different sides together...Obama is trying to sort of tamper everything down. He doesn't even use the word terror. He uses extremism. He's all about let us reason together...He's the teacher. He is going to say, ‘now, children, stop fighting and quarreling with each other.’ And he has a kind of a moral authority that he – he can – he can do that." In response, Matthews wondered: "If there's a world election between him and Osama Bin Laden, he's running a good campaign." Thomas agreed: "Yes, he is."

This is so sickening, I cannot believe a so-called news agency would even put it out.
Obama is a joke. A community organizer. A smooth talker. A charlatan, snake oil salesman, a fake. He has so many Czars we are starting to look like Russian lite, have to speak Chinese and worship Allah. ****.
Ditto, LMM. I thought he was running for President of The World when I heard the Cairo speech. And I'll bet you that the Middle Eastern leaders sitting in the crowd are thinking "Now it looks like we are going to more easily be able to make us some of that dough there in the land of the free". How about giving some Americans some love, Obama? Grow a pair and stand up for us some.
Lol.....ODS anyone? Thankfully Senator Lugar, no "liberal" by any stretch, and quite a respected Republican voice had this to say:

Senator Richard Lugar termed President Barack Obama’s address to the Muslim world a “signal achievement” and dismissed criticism by fellow Republicans that the U.S. leader was too apologetic.

The speech Obama delivered June 4 in Cairo was important and necessary, said Lugar, the top Republican on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, noting a “lack of sympathy for our country” in many Muslim nations.

“We probably as Americans need to give a lot of speeches in the Arab world,” the Indiana senator said in an interview on Bloomberg Television’s “Political Capital with Al Hunt,” airing this weekend.

President Obama is not God any more so than Ronald Reagan could have been considered a deity. Hes a popular President of the United States. No more no less.

The funny thing is when anyone a Pres of the opposite party, the bashing usually comes soon. When any Dem supported anything Pres Bush wanted to do, Dem supporters quickly said that they were not true Dem. The same is happening now. When any Repub supports Pres Obama, Repub supporters are quick to say that they are not real Repubs. I just find it all too funny.

That would be the difference between a "statesman", and a politician.
Bashing of the other party does always happen. Its par for the course.

If all the dems are happy with Obama prostituting himself in front of Kings and sheiks and bowing down uttering profuse apologies for American PROTECTING itself from harm, then there really is no hope for the future.

ODS; no, not yet, but he's getting there quickly.

Why should he? We've known all along how he and his wife feel about our country. He's just going out and reinforcing it. On a humorous note, there are millions of people who voted for him who still don't understand that he hates them. Big Grin
