It would appear that the B.O. administration IS responsible for upping the ante on a program begun under Bush in 2005. It remains to be seen whether or not the B.O. administration WILL ultimately be held accountable for the deaths incurred during this idiotic scheme to lie to the American public and defame American gun owners. One can hope.....

The MSM is blithely ignoring a much bigger coverup than Watergate or Bush's dismissal of a few lawyers. No one died because of Watergate and the lawyers dismissal, at best, broke a couple of civil service regulations.
The ATF, DEA and FBI are involved. Acting BATF Director Melson is refusing to be Oabama's fall guy. He used to be a professional civil servant before he took the appointment. Probably, the worst Obama can do to him is fire him. At which time he can either take retirement, or go back to his old civil service job.
In the true style of Cleon, the adminstration tried to use it in a demogogic fashion to attack the NRA. But, like an overloaded blundebuss, it blew in their faces.
Issa needs to get a contempt of congress approval from the House, so the courts can order records to be presented (unredacted) and demand witness appear.
