Glad to hear he's going to go at it again. Maybe this time he's wiser and won't let those things that caused him to have to close down last time get to him this time. I always thought he had a good product and was popular.

Could be that the owner followed some bad advice in culling the biscuits or maybe it was a decision he thought would be one that would be financially beneficial. Either way if the biscuits were really that good I'd say drop them a message on facebook and voice that opinion.
Prior to Josh opening Fat Boy’s, I met with him, as I was trying to obtain a contract for some of the work, prior to is opening. Personally, I liked Josh, but I believe one of his downfalls, was among the management and staff, with overrated ego, who were recruited from other restaurants.
I wish Josh the best, but unless, his concept changes, he is doom to fail again. When I select a restaurant, I return because of quality of the food, service and cleanness. Fat Boy’s lacked two of the three.
If you want some fine pre dinner bread... check out Jim n Nicks.
ACCORDING to Facebook, they open May 2nd
anyone been back to eat there yet? they looked fairly busy yesterday afternoon around 1730. seems to be positive buzz on facebook but thats probably from the die hard followers that didnt mind the flaws to begin with.
I didnt eat there, but I looked at a menu today. They have something called the "defibrillator"..its something iv only seen on tv. Its an entire cheeseburger DEEP FRIED..im going next week to try that
I tried them when they opened the first time; they may be back, but I don't think that I'll be.
We ate there Tuesday and the food was great. The turkey sandwich was great just like last time. He now offers regular and large on it.
My daughter tells me that Fat Boy's has a new Skookie available now and it's better than the other choices. Hope I spelled or termed that dessert offering right. Anyway the new one is a
Strawberry Sunday Skookie.
i finally made it back there today for lunch. had the Diablo burger, which has a quite spicy sauce on it, which is either chipotle in adobo or some sort of habanero blend, couldnt quite put my finger on it. plus it had bleu cheese and onions. it was pretty good. could've been a little hotter but i like it HOT. it was cooked more than i like mine though, i prefer medium..so that was really the only drawback. the seem to be faster at getting orders out, however we got there early so there wasnt a big crowd, that could've been a factor.
