Can't do Woodchuck, but love Shiner Bock! Sweetwater 409, I think, is good from Atlanta and so is Yazoo in Nashville, I believe. The Huntsville micro is not very good, or at least mine was not. Blacksotne's in Nashville has a good variety including a red and a dark. Ale's and Pilsner's. And then there is the Flying Saucer..............
Next time you're in Nashville, look for Yazoo. They have several different kinds of beers and they're all excellent.

Blue Moon is excellent on tap, so is Newcastle, Guinness, and Killian's for more mainstream beers.

If you're looking for good microbrews, next time you're in Nashville try Bosco's on 21st Ave. Great pizza and the best beers.

when I lived in tupelo, I'd get guinness and killians drafts regularly. thursday I had newcastle draft, and friday night, I had several blue moon drafts. they even brought out the orange slice without having to be asked, I was impressed. last weekend I was in nashville, and we ended up with a keg of shiner bock. it worked, but I need to find yazoo and boscos. thanks.

ahhh... Bosco's! Then across the street to Fido's for coffee!

When we ate at Bosco's we got the 5 beer sampler. Great way to try many brews for few $$$.
talking about trying alot of beers, its not draft, but I was told that buena vista spirits in muscle shoals has finally started a "build your own six pack" deal. they have alot of imports, and this way, you can try several different brews without obligating yourself to 6 of something you may not like. I was told it was $10 to build a 6. they have been talking about doing this for a while, so I was glad to hear it finally started.

has anyone seen bass ale on tap here?

Ok, nola you hit the nail on the head! You can find Fat Tire in about any major resturant here in Texas. It is my favorite.
I was also out in L.A. this past fall and my friend took me to a place called the Yard House

www.yardhouse.com

They have more draft beer than anywhere I have ever seen. The food was awesome. I got a 12 sampler there. Its shot glasses of whatever you want. I even tried the blueberry beer, it was awesome! Try it out if you are ever near one.
Red Hook ISB for starters, while my Beamish or Guiness is warming up. For pure beer heaven: fresh Spaten Oktoberfest on tap, but good luck finding that, even in NYC.

Quote from my son: "Why did you have to go live in Scotland for 3 years when you were in the Navy? Now I can't even stand the smell of a canned beer! I can't afford Spaten or Staropramen every night. . ."
