Biden made a decent speech but one typcial of Democrats about how the Middle Class has been forgotten. Touble with that speech is that the Middle Class did poorly with Obama and has soared with Trump as President. Tax benefits that were handed out by Trump helped Middle Class and most everyone that paid taxes including the lower class too.
One thing I couldn’t help but think of as he preached to the Union folks was how patronizing he was being. Saying things like “everyone” deserved a chance at jobs. I agree with that but I have been a Union person, paid dues for many years, and who everyone is to a Union Person is Everyone that is Union meaning all non-union folks need not apply. Any thinking person knows in today’s highly polarized political enviroment that whatever statements a politician makes is going to be toward 50% of the people or actually about 47% of them and the other 6% are the independents that aren’t the 47% in favor of the politician and the 47% that are naturally against the person.
One thing about what Trump has done is that his acts have benefited everyone or practically everyone including the rich and big cooperations at the same time as benefiting the lowest wage earners, many whom now have opportunities that didn’t exist before (Trump) to get a job or move up in the job market.
