In the first three weeks (two games) we should know pretty well what Alabama's season will look like.  I started to say the same about Tennessee as not long ago I was thinking that Tennessee's first three games would be Oregon (first) and Florida in the third week but somehow now Tennessee has moved Oregon back to week three and Florida follows them.  Either way we'll also know pretty soon how Tennessee's season will go.

I don't want to wish my life away but I also look forward to College Football Season once again and hope, hope, hope, Alabama finds their third in a row National Championship at the Rose Bowl come January.

Well since I posted the topic and first post Tennessee had changed their schedule and now will not play Oregon until the third week then pick up Florida immediately after that.  Alabama will play Virginia Tech the first game then has a bye week and play in College Station, what many claim, what will be the game of the year.  Most commentators that I have heard in the weeks leading up to the beginning of fall camps have the opinion that IF Alabama beats Texas A&M in that game that they (Alabama) will win the west and play in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.   Frankly I don't know what changed in Tennessee's schedule or how I could have messed it up that much but maybe I got hold of a bad URL and went with what I read on that site.  Either way I"m just glad the season is upon us and starting and wish the best for Alabama.

Well the first week is now history and while Alabama had a winning game I hope that the performance of the Offense greatly improves between now and the next game with Texas A&M.  I don't know if it's just me but I thought the Offense looked pretty much bland and ineffective for most of the game with a few glimpses of potential.

Yeldon did not have a standout game and was stuffed far more times and had less breakout runs than you could expect a year ago.  The receivers were also not on their game but then it was only the first week and it does take time to get in the rhythm.

For fans of the Tide let us hope that things gel and turn around when they go to College Station and play against A&M for I doubt very much if the team that played on Saturday will go undefeated for the rest of the season and whether it's just complacency or just opening jitters I hope they find their groove in the coming two weeks for I somehow feel that Texas A&M is going to be ready for them.
