Pillar of Fire and the Florence-Lauderdale Public Library invite you to spend your Sunday afternoon soaring through the future in George Pal's Oscar-winning film version of the H.G. Wells novel "The Time Machine" (1960), starring Rod Taylor, Yvette Mimieux (shown here menaced by a savage Morlock) and Alan Young.

2 p.m. today (Sunday, May 30), Florence-Lauderdale Library, 350 N. Wood Ave., Florence, Alabama. Free admission.
