Like Saparila said, Me thinks she protesteth too much. Dixie betrays herself. They always do attacking Scott. It always back-fires. Everytime.She is very defensive when asked for the location and she exagerated the claim of degradation. Obviously. That is an Irons talking point anyway.It's BS . Scott is not the one acting childish at meetings. That's Howard and Irons and Pendleton mainly. Carrier by standing strong forced the others to come around to his correct position on Neese. He will be a great Mayor because he will be a force to be reckoned with. He already is as one of six. When he has the executive podium and power and the people's backing (which he will in large measure) the council will go along with his leadership. In fact, watch as this bunch come to him as we approach the election. They will start seeing the writing on the wall and their own self-interest and preseravtion will kick-in. Also, as much support as he gets on a forum his real strength is not people here. It is everyday citizens who know he is their guy, the one they trust. It is killing his detractors but he is winning. Also, Dixie, lay off the slander. It is unbecoming someone of your stature. But Scott can take it. He has more courage than you or any his enemies. In fact, attacks on him just make him stronger and more popular than ever. Grow up.
I do remember reading about Mr. Carrier finding another company that is a competitor to Pro Bass Shop and that company would have built a shop in Veterans Park without the $20 million taxpayer dollars. He brought a man in to a council meeting that represented the company and Sam Pendleton for one raised all hell about it and would allow the man to speak. If Sam Pendleton and his buddies did not make Florence look bass ackward I don’t know what does. Let it be known I got my information from the TD. If they reported wrong or sloppy then it is the TD’s fault for my misinformation. I know the TD likes to leave out bits and pieces of information from time to time
Yea you're right I lied go figure...hello, main thoroughfare in D2--Pine Street -- take a main road off of it you'll find what I'm talking about...oh wait, you obviously don't know where D2 is...get a map check it out -- if he would drive around his district he would see -- or you would see...I am not out to get Carrier--I am not an Ironslover...I just don't see Carrier the way you do...I know better...like I said you can't see you are too blinded with "mayor" now to see the reality of what is in the district...I have a differing opinion -- doesn't make me wrong doesn't make you right and it certainly doesn't make me a liar. I am beginning to agree with others...there is no talking to some of you...i give up...call me what you will...doesn't change the facts ...
You are really getting hysterical.Carrier has that effect. He thrills his supporters and boggles his detractors. What about Irons? He has forgotten to lead an entire city. What's the excuse for that. Anyway, actually Wood Ave. is the "main thoroughfare" in D-2, Pine is a big road but Wood is classified as one of the main arteries in town. Also, you still are exagerating to stretch your mis-guided point. I told Scott about you Dixie, and your friend Snake, he laughed and said to tell you hello and GIVE HIM A CALL. He would love to talk to you. You can show him all of your trouble spots. He is responsive. He played a voice-mail for me the other day a lady from D-2 left him. She said, and I quote, "thank you Mr. Carrier for your phenomenal representation of us, we love you and let us know how we can help if you run again, FOR WHATEVER OFFICE YOU RUN FOR." That really happened. She said PHENOMENAL. So there are many in D-2 and all over town who disagree with you vehemently. If you don't believe me now, you will in August 2008.

BULLETIN: Saying Scott Carrier "just doesn't get it" a spokesman for Jimmy Neese says that the Neese's will replace the 18 Dick Jordan signs they usually have in the windows of Neese Real Estate during elections with Bobby Irons signs this time. If Jordan runs for D-2 seat agian they will put dual signs saying vote Jordan/Irons "now that's a ticket we can work with" Bobby and Dick never met a cover-up they didn't like. 'I can work with that', said Neese mouthpiece. 'Carrier actually thinks taxpaying citizens have a right to know where their money went and how it is being spent and used. A radical like that must go.' the spokeman continued. Carrier wants accountability and open Government? Now how in the world can a shyster developer or any other of the numerous gamers here get by with an honest man in office, one who wants to air us out in public? For crying out loud, vote Irons and Jordan. Stop the Carrier menace.We can't get anything done with him around.
