Have a football camp, be a good Christian, but dont call it a "Football Camp for Jesus". If this is allowed to take place, it will open the door for say in the future that one of the schools should have a Muslim coach. Say this coach wants to have a "Football Camp for Mohammed" that is mandatory. Say he gives all the kids a prayer rug and a Koran to read. Whats the difference? There is a separation between church and state for a reason.
Since you are a Christian, I'll talk to you Christian to Christian.
Your view makes sense if I ignore the high cost of removing anything Christian from our schools and removing anything Christian from our government and eventually removing anything Christian from our country.
It's not an easy question and there are no easy answers.
I understand that belief in God should not be forced. I also understand that our country has been blessed as well as placed under an umbrella of protection because of that belief in God.
What will be the cost of removing God from schools, government and eventually this country? Will the cost be worth it? Will the umbrella of protection and the blessings stop? Will my children and grandchildren pay for the complacency of myself and my generation? We seriously need to think this thing all the way through.
Again, that is spoken Christian to Christian. It will make sense to Joe, but possibly not to someone who does not believe.
