See, I always thought that the 95% Shi'a Muslim population had always turned to the mosque in times of crisis. Wasn't that what happened in 1953 and 1979 and 1844 and 1912? I mean, I know we're not supposed to pay attention to history or anything, but don't you think that even
if if we invaded and took over Tehran that the clerics would still be there, telling people to attack the Americans?
