It kind of seems like a package deal. I'm not sure if he can be bought or not.
Trump rejected donors, for the most part, and for the most part donors were against him and put their money against him in a losing venture. They, most likely, now are feeling like the major donors to the Clinton Foundation who felt they were going to have muscle in Washington with the new female President only to end up with nada. Why would they contribute any more.
I'll make one more prediction, I predict that Hillary's fees for Speaking along with Bill Clinton's speaking fees will drop like a rock because they will now be paid for what they are worth rather than their prospective value with Hillary potentially being a future president.
They won't be buying Trump.

in the last 8 years, the stock market is up, unemployment is down, less troops deployed in a war based on lies, gas is down, America is producing more gas, the deficit is going down, stuff like that. Jack and Gifted, both you need to look in a mirror to really see who is too stupid and brainwashed to vote.

A new Islamist terrorist group, even worse than al Qaeda, ISIS was formed and, partially armed, by the actions of Obama and Hillary. The 2016 deficit rose above the level of 2014 and 2015. The US is producing more gas, in spite of, not because of government. The number of unemployed is up.

Trump sent the stock market up, unemployment is not down, the Democrats war is still going on, we have the destructive "obamadon'tcare", the left is aiding and abetting the invasion of the country by Muslim terrorists and every other piece of **** in the world. Presidents have no impact on gas prices. I'm smart enough to never vote for a "stinking/stupid" Democrat, and when I looked in the mirror, it is STILL YOU that is too stupid and brainwashed to vote.
Stock Market: 2008 to 2016 change, DOW up about 3,500, S&P500 up 15, Nasdaq up 2,660. Unemployment down about .9% Those are positive changes, especially when both houses in congress is against you. Wikipedia says ISIS originated in 1999.
