Former Deep State FBI Lawyer and Alleged Leaker James Baker Says He is “Nervous” About Upcoming DOJ Inspector General Report

Baker went public on Friday to defend the origins of the junk Russia-Collusion spying scandal and to attack the sitting US President.

President Trump managed to survive a coup attempt by the deep state, their fake news media and the Democrat Party the first two years of his presidency.

The Trump haters are all trying to go on record before the Inspector General’s report drops.

House Republicans revealed in a letter earlier this year that James Baker is under criminal investigation for leaks.

The can all burn in hell.

CNN reported on Baker’s interview with the liberal Brookings Institution on Friday:

“Almost all of the top FBI officials who oversaw the Russia investigation have now publicly spoken out against Trump, an extraordinary and unprecedented rebuke of a sitting president.

“There was a point in time relatively recently where I just became sick of all the BS that is said about the origins of the (Russia) investigation, and I just got fed up with it,” Baker said… ”I want to talk about the origin of the investigation to reassure the American people that it was done for lawful, legitimate reasons and was apolitical throughout, in my experience.””

The liberal media is working in concert with the deep state to “create” a “predicate” that previously didn’t exist to explain away Obama’s spying on his political opponents during an election.

Former FBI General Counsel James Baker admitted on Friday that he is “nervous” about DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s investigation into the conduct of the DOJ and the FBI during the Trump-Russia probe.

Sitting down with with Lawfare’s Benjamin Wittes in a crowded room at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C., Baker said he is “assuming that they will dig and find stuff” and that “we’ll try to sort it out and see what mistakes were made.” But Baker defended the FBI’s actions, including its use of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.

Horowitz’s investigation is particularly focused on alleged FISA abuse and the reliance on British ex-spy Christopher Steele in FISA applications targeting Trump campaign associate Carter Page.

haha,,, you mean  the slanted, favoritism, lying, democrat,  CNN, NBC, CBS?    actually even tho Fox is slanted, it does the best as both sides.

I mean the source used is credited with starting the 'steele dossier' and perpetuated the lie of 'pizzagate'.

Fox News Entertainment views are proven to be the least informed. Keep viewing news that confirms your political bias. That's exactly how Goebbels would want it to be.

who says Fox is least?   CNN?  who is more than slanted they out right mislead.

See problem is no one is telling complete truth starting with congress.   The smart voter is aware of this.   drink the cool-aid if you desire, I won't.

I actually agree with you more than you realize. I just don't buy into the Republican narrative, in the least. Democrats believe in using Govt. programs to help the people. Republicans believe in using Govt. money to support corporations. Both do the same things for opposite reasons. Same coin, two sides. I don't think the Federal Government has any business giving handouts to private businesses.

The amount of hypocrisy, shown by Republicans, since the election, is astounding, to me. If Democrats had done the same things, done by Republicans,  they'd never stop whining. Republicans have had 7 investigations into Hillary Clinton and have yet to recommend charges. Look how much they whine about that, still!
