Franklin Co., Last Thurs. in the Timesdaily my daughter wrote a letter to the editor about the School Bus law. It was Officer Hayes who gave her the ticket because he didn't know the law had changed, two year ago, and y'all want to vote him in for Sheriff! Franklin Co. will be 2 yrs. behind! Please go back and read the letter!

Officer Hayes has had many complaints from Leighton citizens. He was even giving out tickets on the Colbert County High School Parking lot. Att. Munsey had to remind him that was private property and the school had an SRO to hand out tickets. I'm sure Franklin Co. doesn't know Hayes past reputation with Law Enforcemnt jobs or he wouldn't be on the ballot.

He could make the ballot on the Republican side because most in Franklin County don't pay attention to that primary anyway - at least for sheriff. The Democratic candidate, whomever it may be, will win in a landslide.
And, why do you think Hayse doens't work in Franklin county? Maybe most of the folks already know about him and his law enf practices.
