Friday Night's Police Chase

Here are a couple of images from the end of the police chase Friday night about midnight that ended up on Poplar in Sheffield. It started in Nitrate City I heard and Colbert County, Muscle Shoals, and Florence were involved. It was a white van from a local Plumbing company.

I' not sure why this hasn't been in the news. I think if a Muscle Shoals cop has someone pulled over in downtown Florence it's probably news. Sorry about the quality - they are a still images from a cell phone video.

thanks for that link - I wondered about that - I live just down the road from North Carolina Church of Christ and his grave his next to the road and I see it all the time. On page #1 of this post, someone did say that R. D. was the driver. I personally have no idea. I doubt after all this time they will find out who killed Keith. It was probably more than one person and it looks like alcohol may have been involved to me. That is so sad.

It seems like that, if one wants news, one should NOT turn to the TimesDaily or any Huntsville "news" outlet.

The "Shoalanda" blog seems to be carrying much of that which is "news" for Northwest AL.

Of course, many folks've known about the TD's abysmal LACK of quality reporting for quite some time.

Just consider the falsified call for help recently made to the TVA.

Read the TD article, and it seems like it was real!

C'mon guys! Do your jobs!

If it's a hoax or suspected hoax, let the people know!

I think the whole TD operation needs to be sacked!

It didn't end in Sheffield. It was Poplar & Barnes Street in Florence. I bet my video is better.

That kinda makes me curious because I know everyone that was involved in the pursuit. It's possible your friend works at FPD but their involvment in the pursuit was limited. However, they would have all the information you provided. Lawncuttin, hmm? There are alot of ex police officers and current firemen in Muscle Shoals that cut grass.

This happened right in front of my house! It was a Rogers Plumbing Van, I heard from a good reliable source that it was a routine traffic stop, and the guy driving van started running from them and they threw the spikes down right after patton island bridge. Also heard the guy was doing drugs the whole time during pursuit. When we heard all the sirens we walked outside and he was riding on rims doing about 25-30 mph with sparks flying everywhere and like 10-12 cops behind him.. Muscle Shoals, Colbert County, Sheffield, and Florence.. I think that was all that we're chasing him, might have had Lauderdale County too.
