From what I have "heard", it was a routine traffic stop and the guy ran from them and was "doing" drugs the whole time during the pursuit. Now that might be wrong, but that is what I heard from a pretty reliable source.

I think all the cops are trippin on the video and trying to get it on COPS or something. Or maybe my first thought was correct and since it is visiting hours right now, they have all gone down to ECM to visit R.L.

seems to me that i have missed alot! so we still talking about policies! to me from what i have read on here, there has been no policies broken! someone else made a statement, and seems to me that CL has just made a statement about being wrong on the issue and done what a MAN would have done, and admitted that he was wrong, sounds like a whole lot of professionlism to me! try it sometimes it works.

Again, what information have I released? Are you my chief? What policy have I broken? What is my name? What department do I work for? Did I post what department I work for? Did I post details that led up to and during the pursuit? Why don't you ask your questions face to face? I know who you are and where you work. You know where i'm at, right?

You were giving the wrong information on the van description that involved a local business. You gave or confirmed the name of the driver also. Although small events, you still supplied. I don't care what your name, dept., etc is. All I was saying is that most dept. that I have worked for have some type of policy against releasing information, maybe your small dept does not. That is what I was asking, if a policy existed. I am pretty sure that your are mistaken about my identity, but I am not trying to hide.

I'm sorry I didn't realize Florence was such a big department. I'm not wrong and I could care less if your hiding. I confirmed the name of the driver, whoa! That is public information, correct?

The last time i checked it was not against any policy at any department, big or small, to comfirm or deny any event. so are you saying because you are on a forum, and someone makes a in-direct comment, and you continue to let them think that, then you have broken a department policy? so that means if you told me that your name was booger, and i did not correct you, then I would be in the wrong. and did he give the name or did he just confirm, it can't be both! sounds to me like you are accusing CL of something , and just dont want to come out and say it.
