Agree 100 %, IMO one of the best values in the Shoals

I eat there at least once a week for lunch, including today! Great food, great service, great price! Although around lunch time 11:30-1 the place is crazy packed and sometimes can be hard to find a table. Still worth the wait! 3 thumbs up! hah

well, good luck if you order anything not on the special lunch menu thats already ready. I stopped going there because it would take a good 20-30 minutes to finish my order. I went there one night with my father. I ordered a simple hamburger steak with vegetables. My father ordered some pork chops and vegetables. We waited 34 minutes before finally we just got up and left. I am a health nut. I would mainly eat their grilled chicken. 75% of the time it would be tough as nails. Not to mention it gave me terrible stomach ailments.

We have never had a bad order there. Always fast and friendly service and the the country (family) cooking is as good as you will get in the Shoals. Value for what you get is the best. Monday, Wednesday & Friday you can get Chicken fried steak and gravy for a fraction of what you pay for the same dish at Country Boys. Vegetables are tasty we try and eat there often but not on Saturday and Sundays because unfortunately they are closed those days, I guess they like weekends off also.
