One of my co-workers filled up this morning for 2.72 a gallon at the Mapco -- when another co-worker went to fill up a few minutes ago price had gone up 15 cents. I realize the situation in the Gulf of Mexico, but we are not dependent daily on anything that is produced there. Why do they get away with this?

Not sure what brand if any Mapco sells. If they buy from any and all distributors like Outpost 72 they're paying more, esp. at times like this. The oil rig was owned by BP, so I would expect them to go up almost immediately.
