If scientist want to do studies on Embryonic stem cells, let them get private funding.
I don't understand why anybody's religeous belief would prefer flushing embryos down the toilet to using them for research to possibally develop cures for diseases. Jesus spent the bulk of his ministry healing sick people, not railing against trying to do things to help others.
I suggest that those who don't want embryonic research to put their womb where your mouth is. Go volunteer to become impreginated with one of these embryos.
I know people who have, or have died from terrible diseases which may someday be helped by research done now. We should research EVERY stem cell means that shows promise of help or cure, not limit it.
