He was behind this amendment to the min wage bill: No U.S. Contractor can hire illegal aliens. You do, well, you WILL pay dearly.

Notice who voiced opposition to it: meat packing industry.....Goldkist ring a bell?

Seems Goldkist needs Operation Return to Sender to visit them...

I understand some want stem cell funding, but we are talking about embryonic stem cells. I don't see how you can expect Senator Sessions to go against his and I would venture to guess 60% or more of Alabama's religeous beliefs based on a very fuzzy premise that embryonic stem cells are better than other stem cells, especially when there are more stem cells in embryonic fluid and no babies die. If scientist want to do studies on Embryonic stem cells, let them get private funding.

It is good to know that you judge someone by the way they look.

It does not matter where blacks live the majority of them want something for nothing. They want someone else to do it for them and then they ruin it. Look at the nice housing projects that are given to blacks to live in here in the USA. The native American Indian is the same way. They have housing give to them and they ruin it. Native American Indidans are some of the nastiest people I have seen. They let garbage pile up outside their homes on the reservations.

seems yo judgin by looks too.

Don't be so shallow minded. If you think I'm wrong then prove it. No racism here , only facts.

I would also like to add that is people like you that make ignorant remarks or resort to name calling(racist or bigots)because they can not back up their views with facts.

I don't understand why anybody's religeous belief would prefer flushing embryos down the toilet to using them for research to possibally develop cures for diseases. Jesus spent the bulk of his ministry healing sick people, not railing against trying to do things to help others.
I suggest that those who don't want embryonic research to put their womb where your mouth is. Go volunteer to become impreginated with one of these embryos.
I know people who have, or have died from terrible diseases which may someday be helped by research done now. We should research EVERY stem cell means that shows promise of help or cure, not limit it.

If you are tall, I would describe you as "tall." If you are short, I would describe you as "short." Those are basic descriptions based on observations. The term "racist" works much the same way.

Your opinions and perspectives are not facts. They do, however, often seem to parallel those of a racist.

Would you kindly step out of the gene pool, please?

Definitions of Racism:

Racialism is a form of discrimination based on race, especially the belief that one race is superior to another. Racism may be expressed individually and consciously, through explicit thoughts, feelings, or acts, or socially and unconsciously, through institutions that promote inequality between races.

The belief that one 'racial group' is inferior to another and the practices of the dominant group to maintain the inferior position of the dominated group. Often defined as a combination of power, prejudice and discrimination.

Judging an individual based solely on his or her racial affiliation.

And how about discrimination:

To discriminate is to make a distinction. There are several meanings of the word, including statistical discrimination, or the actions of a circuit called a `discriminator`. This article addresses the most common colloquial sense of the word, invidious discrimination. That is, irrational social, racial, religious, sexual, ethnic and age-related discrimination of people.

Behavior that shows prejudice. Failure to treat people equally because of a bias based on characteristic such as race, religion, sex, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, and disability.

Yo statement about south africans being " out of the jungle comes the low end of the evolutionary ladder
humanoids" is both racist and discriminatory, as well as namecallin in the xtreme. The facts in front of yo, in yo own racist words.

Also, groupin blacks as only ones in "housing projects", and Native American Indians as the only ones wit garbage outside ther houses is racist and discriminatory. no race is exempt from livin in "housing projects" and no race is exempt from havin garbage outside ther homes.
I do not like it when my thread gets hijacked.

This thread was about Jeff Session's attaching an amendment or whatever to a bill that prevents U.S. Government Contractors from hiring illegal aliens (of which have been found working on various military installations of late). This thread is NOT about racism or embryonic stemcell research. So, take the racism and Michael J. Fox arguments somewhere else, please.

The hijackers of this thread are examples of what I consider

David L: I am assuming you are referring to me, even though it seems you can't spell very well.....

If you would read the news, look around, and see which way the winds are blowing, you would be concerned, too. This is America, not Mexico or an extension of Mexico or Latin America. I do not like it when our government or businessess cater to lawbreakers or invaders.

It appears you can't spell very well either. And by the way, I don't think this is "your" thread.

Please show me an example on which you base that observation - if you wish to support it, that is.

I am very much against abortion .... I just don't get it, but that is beside the point.... Like you said, the Embryonic fluids and placenta can give just as much to research and NO ONE DIES...

If a woman gives birth, and decides they want to donate the fluids/sac to science, then I cannot understand why people have a problem with it... it will just go into the haz trash anyway, right?

Can't forget tho, that he voted AGAINST fed funding for stem cell research, proving that he would rather flush possible cures down the toilet than to help sick people.

I am definitely not a authority on the subject of stem cell research, but I have read some of the pamplets a really close friend had. He has Parkinson's disease, and seems like stem cell research is one of the top things going on for a cure of that horrid disease. That is where I saw that the fluids/sac can be used because the properties were so rich.

Bad news: the Democommunists led by Uncle Teddy "..the car spins round and round and round..." Kennedy killed the Sessions amendment.

I read that article... 1st page, and I do NOT see where he said anything but the truth in his comment!!! AND he echoed most of the voices of this forum, ... The majority of people of the United States of America is NOT behind your idea's of politics Brentenman...

All Kennedy did was call out the others saying they were trying to HIDE too many amendments into the min. wage one...

This is from the article: Republicans are "not for those millions of Americans who are heading home tonight, who've worked long and hard, facing their children hoping that at last, the United States isn't going to fail us" he said. "What do we tell them after five days?"

What is wrong with what he said? What is NOT true about what he said???

He AT LEAST included millions of Americans into his comment, where the REP's lately have ONLY included businesses, tax cuts for Big Business, and how they can help each RICH friend out... He even spent time talking about the Troops in Iraq..

Appreciate the URL... NICE read!!!
