coulda been georgia. dunno. not really a football fan.
doesn't much matter who it was, in the long run.

how anyone can see what this team has done this year (esp last week) and say they don't play with honor or itegrity is beyond me. but that's your opinion.
how i say it is simple. i watched the game.

as for the "throwing punches and constant late hits," Auburn was flagged for ONE late hit in
one flag, yes. all that means is he was only caught once.
time after time i hear the whistle blow, and then saw 90 hit the QB.
over and over.
yeah, what GA did was pretty crappy to.. they intentionally tried to hurt fairley, which is dirty and sorry no matter the situation, but they aren't playing any more this season, so i haven't had any need to mention i hope they all lose as well.
maybe we saw a different game.
i saw auburn late hit over and over, and then i saw uga try to get a little pay back, and then i saw auburns players being cheered and shoulder patted and atta-boy'd for throwing punches and being ejected from the game.
that tells me it isn't just those two players and fairley that are contemptable, but the additude of the majority of their fans as well.
"yay! you threw punches in a fooball game! what an awsome guy you are! i want my kids to grow up just like you!"
i also saw cam newton scramble and try to run for the 1st down himself, having no one open to throw to, and as he ran for the side line at an angle, and the ga defender ran to push him out of bounds or tackle him as needed, i saw cam reach out, as if to straight-arm the ga player for an extra couple of yards, but instead cam hauled back, and slamed his hand into the side of the GA's players helmet, and it was clearly intentional. it wasn't a missed block, it was a blow struck on purpose. i also watched as a ref yanked newton aside and chewed him out for it. i noticed that cam played a squeaky clean game after that.
see, i have a roommate atm who likes football. i don't liek football, but i'm not gonna stop him from watching a game ifthere isn't something better on i want to watch.
so i had no bias on this game. i didn't care who won. didn't interest me at all.
so i saw what was there, through disinterested eyes. i didn't like or dislike auburn any more or less than any other team in the SEC.
because of the actions of auburns team that day, because of the way they played, i will never support them.
until that game my opinion was 'well, if there's gonna be a national champion, it'd be nice if it were one of the teams from my state.
now, i'd rather the SEC lose the championship than for auburn to win it.
to be fair, i feel the same way about UGA after that game, but they are done this year.
catch me next year, i'll hope they lose then
i don't blame them for doing something in retaliation, but tryign to cause injury on purpose isn't the way to do it.
