That could have went one of two ways. I wonder how far down he fell down? Where the blades engaged? Was it rocky? Grass? Water? It really doesn't say. Either way he's very lucky.

GRANT, Ala. (WHNT) — A man had a dangerous accident with his lawnmower on Sunday in Grant. Fortunately, he survived.
Emergency responders say the man was mowing his lawn, near Ayers Circle, when he somehow went over the bluff.
The man’s son said his father was mowing an area that was safely away from the bluff, but hit a dip in the ground and he and the mower went over, falling 80 feet.
The son ran to help his father and called 911. Four fire departments, EMS, and Med Flight responded and had to repel down to get the man to safety.
The man, 62, was taken by Med Flight for medical attention.
The man’s son says his father suffered some injuries and is still in the hospital, but is expected to be okay.
