Gun Nut Logic

Typical pseudo intellectual drivel by those who possess a rudimentary understanding of logic yet use it as their bailiwick. Case in point... the "gun nut logic" below puts forth two separate and independent propositions, yet the analogy put forth by the "interpretation" reflects only a single condition. And in typical fashion, it is intentionally ascribed in a way that projects a childish mentality to the opposing side in order to deflect scrutiny away from their feeble attempt at achieving some valid equivocation. I understand these folks' burning desire to be something more than just average on the cognitive totem pole, but those pesky standard deviations just won't get out of their way!!

GUN NUT LOGIC:  According to leaders of the NRA, any restrictions on types of guns or sizes of magazines sold, or mandatory background checks for all purchasers, particularly in regard to private sales, will lead inevitably—if not immediately—to gun confiscation and an end to all Second Amendment rights.

 

INTERPRETATION:  If a child has a bag of Halloween candy and mom says, “You can only eat one candy bar before bedtime,” or “no candy now, it’s time for supper,” this means mom intends to confiscate the bag of candy. Mom is like Hitler.

You get to listen to Romney lie about Obamacare for a few minutes, but at 5:26 Romney agrees with that (not known as a Liberal) religious nut Huckabee that he would sign a "personhood amendment" to the Constitution. 

Such a personhood amendment would by it's nature , virtually outlaw most forms of birth control in use, and therefore strip a woman of her reproductive rights.

Tod Akin is irrelevant and hardly speaks for the party. No Repub was ever for denying any reproductive rights. They were only against the source of funding for contraception and abortions. The fact is women would always have access to both, but not on the taxpayers dime. Heck, even the libs have recently come out and admitted embryos are in fact human beings.
