Charles Koch — of the notorious Koch Brothers — turns 79 today.
Hmm . . . What do you get the man who wants everything?
How about a constitutional amendment to prevent him, his brother and the other billionaires in their cabal of would-be plutocrats from turning our democracy into their own personal puppet show?
In the wake of Supreme Court travesties like Citizens United and McCutcheon, the Koch Brothers’ network has spent more than anybody trying to stuff Congress full of politicians who will push their corporate agenda.
Public Citizen, meanwhile, has done more than anybody to win a constitutional amendment that would overturn those rulings and limit corruption.
So, to “celebrate” Charles Koch’s birthday, can you help make sure we have the financial power to keep fighting the billionaire and Big Business forces that threaten to ruin our democracy?

You could donate $17 for the 17 percent richer he is now than he was just one year ago.
You could donate $5 for the upcoming fifth anniversary of Citizens United.

Whatever you can spare today will help give us the real-world resources it takes to go up against some of the wealthiest people who have ever lived.
Maybe, for his 80th birthday this time next year, we can give Charles that amendment.
He definitely doesn’t have one already.
