Whether you are atheist, methodist, baptist, Catholic or non-demoninational or anywhere in between. May we all be thankful for our bountiful blessings. And consider those less fortunate.

Enjoy your Turkey, whether it be Tofu or the real thing.
Most of all enjoy your Family for they are a true Treasure.

Hi all,
Since the theme of this discussion, before BeterCon took it in a different direction, is being thankful on Thanksgiving -- let me wish one and all a blessed Thanksgiving. May everyone be blessed by our Creator -- even those who deny His existence.
On a second thought, although I seldom agree with Skippy on most matters -- I do agree with him that first and foremost we must thank God for our families. They are truly a blessing from God; even when we disagree with them once in a while. We still love them and thank God for them. And, Skippy, I wish you and your family a blessed Thanksgiving.
On a final note -- BeterCon, you have chosen the PERFECT avatar for yourself -- the pugilist, the person always waiting to punch someone, even those in your own corner. Regardless of the chosen subject matter, BeterCon, if the person -- such as Skippy or myself -- is one you have predetermined is an "enemy" -- you will start throwing rocks. My advise for you -- lighten up. Skippy is a Mormon, I am a Conservative Christian, and you are a Legalistic Christian. So be it.
Yes, we all have different views of God, His Word, and His desires for us. And, if you or Skippy post a writing which I feel is not Biblical -- I will call you on it. However, I will not stoop to personal attacks. I will attack, or I prefer to call it, refute, the false teaching. But, let's keep our "refuting" to issues of faith, Christianity, and religion -- and put the personal attacks back into the trash can where they belong. Just a thought.
Happy Thankgiving To One And All!
God bless, have a wonderful day in the Lord,
Bill

So, Bill, when you "feel" that I or someone else is wrong, you will "call [us] on it." Your feelings, then, impel you to identify those who differ from you and to promptly issue a challenge. H-m-m-m, some might just call that legalism, Bill. Others might refer to it as "keeping the faith" or "defending the truth." Seems to depend on your personal perspective, doesn't it? I suppose that your understanding in the matter is that when YOU "call" someone out for some belief that you find un-Biblical, then that would be a defense of the faith, but when I or someone else challenge an interpretation that you hold, then we are being "legalistic." You do play both sides of the street, don't you, Bill?
