I've wondered if anyone has anything to say about the new Hardee's Chicken Tenders? I haven't been able to try them yet and wonder what others think of them.

I do remember when Hardees had fried Chicken and I always felt that their fried chicken tasted better than KFC's Crispy chicken and I was sad to see Hardees take it off the menu.

Hey I can also remember when Krystal served Fried Chicken (like KFC) but that was a long time ago to.

I've had Hardee's Chicken Tenders several times. I think they're great. Certainly on par with Guthrie's and maybe Zaxby's. They're not cheap though. I think a medium chicken tender meal is something like 8 bucks after tax. That's for the five piece. You can get a $1 off coupon at the hardee's website i believe though. As for the sauce, I've tried the honey mustard and the creamy buffalo. Not to impressed with the buffalo but the honey mustard is fantastic.
i went to hardee's on a sunday afternoon about 3 or 4 weeks ago and got the 5 piece fingers. the restaurant was dead, i was the only customer there. i went to the drive thru and should have known with them giving me my food as soon as i pulled up to the window that it would be cold. i got home with it (i live less than 5 minutes away) and sat down to eat. the fingers we old and cold. i should have called them and complained, but i didn't. i will never try them again and have told several people about how bad they were. give me chick-fil-a or zaxby's.
I've not eaten at a Hardees since they took the roast beef of the menu and switched to the $6 specialty burgers.

If they ever decide to put the roast beef back on the menu I will eat there again.

On a side note I worked at the Hardees in Tuscumbia for close to 3 years once. It was my first job ever. I was a cashier and I really liked working there and they had great management at the time.
I tried the tenders this weekend--got a 5 pc and it was 8.15 with tax. I had to wait a while since the tenders had to cook. They were fresh and pretty good. Just as good as some of the other places with homemade chicken tenders. I got the creamy buffalo sauce which was good.

I like them but I'm not too keen on paying $8 for chicken fingers at a drive thru--would rather spend $2 more and go to Red Lobster for lunch!

that was a combo with a drink and side item. the price of the 5 piece is $4.95 (i think)

i gave it another try. went in today about 4:00pm. ordered the 5 piece and they put it up in the window right away, so i knew they had been sitting there for a while. i told them about the last time i ordered them and asked them how long the chicken fingers had been sitting there. they told me about 30 minutes and that they would cook me some fresh ones. got home with them and they were very good. what a difference 'fresh' makes.

one thing i did notice about these chicken fingers is that they are huge. as with everything, you get what you pay for. it was amazing how much bigger and meaty the chicken fingers were compare to everywhere else.

i will go back and get the chicken fingers again, but i will make sure they are fresh before i leave the building.
