the movie started last night at midnight. Bridge Street Theater in Huntsville reported at one point tickets were selling at a rate of 11 per second on Fandango. the most tickets ever sold for a single movie in one day.

did anybody on TDF go see the movie last night?
if so, what did you think?
(don't give away any details please. i'm going this weekend!) Big Grin

i am always so amazed at the completeness of the world jk created. the harry potter books are some of my all time favorites.

i have enjoyed the movies. i think a better job has been done with them than some movie adaptations. i guess jk has stayed involved enough with the production of them to ensure that. good for her.

can't wait to see the new one. if i risk going to a movie and being surrounded by millions of kids, it has to be a good one! ha!
I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Maybe it was because I was looking forward to it too much, or maybe it was because of the 7 year old sitting my lap because she was cold who kept doddling her her back and forth and therefore I had to keep moving my head back and forth to see.LOL Or maybe it was the 12 year old sitting beside me who hadn't read the book and kept asking me what was going on. Anyway, I thought it was too random and if I hadn't read the book, I don't think I could have kept up with it. However, I agree with Basement Cat that they did a good job of inserting humor into the book. Hopefully, I will enjoy it more when I go see it ALONE later on this week.
