I'm going to wait a couple of weeks and catch an afternoon showing. The less people in a theater, the better.

With the past few movies, I thought they did a decent job of staying true to the books. Not perfect, but decent. The movies are always enjoyable in my opinion.

I'm going to try to see it tonight. Would've gone to a midnight but was... unavailable. I've read it's the best one yet.

I think it's so wonderful that JK Rowling went from government assistance to one of the wealthiest women in the UK. What a success story!

i am always so amazed at the completeness of the world jk created. the harry potter books are some of my all time favorites.

i have enjoyed the movies. i think a better job has been done with them than some movie adaptations. i guess jk has stayed involved enough with the production of them to ensure that. good for her.

can't wait to see the new one. if i risk going to a movie and being surrounded by millions of kids, it has to be a good one! ha!

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was GREAT!!!! I thought they did a very good job of taking a dark book and including humor in the movie, yet still bringing into play the book's drama. A tear-jerker!! Take tissues.

what a wonderful movie. it didn't deviate from the book to much. when it did it didn't change the story. great job on a great movie. well worth the price of admission!

Never read the books but liked the movie a lot.It`s good to see the original cast mature as actors the way they have.

I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. Maybe it was because I was looking forward to it too much, or maybe it was because of the 7 year old sitting my lap because she was cold who kept doddling her her back and forth and therefore I had to keep moving my head back and forth to see.LOL Or maybe it was the 12 year old sitting beside me who hadn't read the book and kept asking me what was going on. Anyway, I thought it was too random and if I hadn't read the book, I don't think I could have kept up with it. However, I agree with Basement Cat that they did a good job of inserting humor into the book. Hopefully, I will enjoy it more when I go see it ALONE later on this week.

There wasn't enough Lucius Malfoy in this one. I did not like the casting choice for Narcissa Malfoy. Wouldn't Nicole Kidman have been perfect?!

You're right, Nicole Kidman would have been perfect. The grandchildren were disappointed with Narcissa also. I don't remember seeing Lucius at all. I also noticed Voldemort was missing. I could have done with more Snape also.
