The chairman of the black Alabama Democratic Conference, Joe Reed, said Davis was hurt by ignoring the African-American groups and by voting against the federal health care plan.

“He rejected black voters to go for whites. He acted more like a Republican than a Democrat,” Reed said.

It is people like Joe Reed who keep racism alive and well.

I had made up my mind if the governors race came down to Roy Moore or Davis, that I was gonna vote for Davis. Davis did what was best for America. Too bad more dimwitted democrats did not.
Well it's simple enuff Joe Reed is the chairman of the "Black Alabama Democratic Conference" no racial division no job for Reed! Until all people in this country realize that there are people of both races making good livings off of deviseness, ( I'm sure that's not spelled right, please be gentle Better) and think for themselves and ignore people playing games with our country and its citizens things are not going to make much progress
And just why is a "black" ADC not racist? Many would consider a "white" ADC to be racist. The President is 50/50. He is equal black and white. This should make everyone happy as far as the "race" issue. Now his performance is another question.
Why can we (both sides) not just shut-up about the color of one's skin and focus on what the person can or cannot do. There are good and bad people everywhere. "Race" has NOTHING to do with it!
I agree, this is very much true.

The only problem is that when we critize the president for all the stupid crap he is doing, racism gets brought in. Then we're called racist because we think he sucks at being a president. Then the color card get's thrown and it becomes a thing about if he was another color you wouldn't critize. I'm not bias, if a person sucks as a president, he sucks regardless of color.
It's easier to try to divert attention away from the problem by playing the racism card than to admit that Obama is leading our nation down a path to destruction. (intentionally I might add)
A classy, independent thinking, Democrat ... no wonder he wasn't going anywhere.

Remember the mantra ... "only Republicans are Racist" and "it's Bush's Fault" .. yeah there is plenty more but I don't care to repeat them.
