Not many politicians or surely Presidents private conversations could be played without worry if there was children in the room.  While, yes, those you mention were very vocal with their brash language don't forget Richard Nixon.  I listened to some of the released tapes and conversations of him while he was in office and you certainly wouldn't want children to overhear him.  I'd say he was right  up there with LBJ any day.
