Not only a baby killer but also a racist...but to a democrat those are endearing qualities and earns Northham the dems money and support.

***************************************

A probe into Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam's Eastern Virginia Medical School yearbook -- which featured a racist photo of a man in blackface standing next to someone in Ku Klux Klan garb -- revealed that the school's president, who donated to the Democrat's campaign, knew about the image but decided against taking action.

The law firm investigating the origin and content of a racist photo, which appeared on Northam's page inside the 1984 yearbook, said Wednesday that investigators were unable to determine whether the governor is one of the people seen in the photo or has any other direct connection to it.

But the EVMS investigation report disclosed that school President Richard Homan -- a donor to Northam's campaign -- had learned about the racist yearbook photo from his staff, raising questions about whether politics was taken into consideration in Homan's decision not to address the matter.

“The staff members were advising the president at the time of the photograph and asking if EVMS had an obligation to or should do something about it, such as notifying Governor Northam about it,” the report read.

“The president of EVMS decided that the school should not take steps to publicly announce the photograph or to call Governor Northam's attention to it.”

— Investigation report

Staff members told investigators that they thought the governor would “already be aware of what was on his personal yearbook page,” while Homan insisted on moving forward rather than revisiting photos from the past.

According to the Washington Free Beacon, Homan has been supporting Northam’s political ambitions since 2013. He donated $1,000 to Northam’s campaign for lieutenant governor. He then contributed another $1,000 when Northam ran for governor and later donated $10,000 to his inaugural committee in 2017.

Working on behalf of EVMS, McGuireWoods investigators said they couldn't “conclusively determine” the identities of either person in the 35-year-old photo – leaving all interested parties exactly where they were when the scandal first broke nearly four months ago.

The photo first gained attention after a conservative blog, Big League Politics, dug it up. The backlash was immediate against the Democratic governor, prompting him to go into damage control, offering conflicting statements within hours.

Northam initially issued two apologies within hours of the publication of the photo. He reversed course the next day and said he wasn’t convinced he was one of the men pictured. He did, however, reveal he wore blackface once, decades ago, to look like Michael Jackson for a dance contest.

The 36-page report found no one “with first-hand knowledge of an actual mistake on any page, including any personal page, within the 1984 yearbook” and no evidence that the photo was placed in error, according to the report.

The report also identified 10 photographs depicting individuals in blackface based on the law firm’s review of all EVMS yearbooks, according to the school.

Is there anyone that believes that this Governor would still be in office this long after it was first alleged or reported that this blackface event happened if he had been Republican?  Yet there will be the very same that might would argue that it wouldn't matter that would be first to say there isn't a double standard out there.

You do know the 'investigation' couldn't prove the photo was of the Governor, right? They interviewed at least 30 people and not a single one identified the person in the picture as the accused. Republicans sure are quick to judge Democrats. Something about a stick in your own eye comes to mind. Republicans are the new masters of condemning a Democrat and giving out free passes to Republicans. I believe they call that hypocrisy.

Example:

Condemn Democrat for being racist with no proof.

Defend Trump's statement of 'good people' among the White Supremacists.

Good God no he wouldn't be in office! He would have been gone so fast his head would still be spinning! Dems flat out don't care if a democrat is racist...sexist...homophopic or any of the other descriptions they put on Republicans when it is actually them doing the dirty deeds. Look what they tried to do to Kavanagh with zero proof! At first he apologized....then when that didn't work he said he didn't "think" it was him....then he just flat out refused to address it and refused to resign...and the left went into protection mode with ridiculous excuses for him. Funny....if it wasn't him it sure seems like someone would know who it was and would have come forth with the info. No....once more dems refuse to own their racist behavior...and once more they get away with it.

Let's not forget also the other Virginia politicians, another white accused of blackface offenses and then there is their lt. Governor, a minority, accused of rape by a woman with much better and solid credibility than the woman with Kavanagh yet he also is allowed to skate and the media remains deaf, dumb, and blind to all those.

One more case for you.  Here in Alabama, remember someone by the name of Judge Roy Moore who wasn't even elected or in office and the uproar against him that cost him the election and how the National media jumped on, and led, the parade against him?  National media not interested in State affairs is an outright lie if someone tries to make that allegation.  Democrats and liberals are taken care of by their own.

You also have Ellison and Booker....Tom Carper. As for Moore...we also had a confession from dems that a wealthy dem donor paid them to pose as Russians online and interfere with Moore's campaign. Another thing that cost him the election. But dems still swallow that camel while they strain at the gnat of the "Russian interference" in the 2016 election. Again....why has no one asked Northam who the people in the picture were...if not him? We know why...because it WAS him.

He tried to pretend he didn't know who was in the picture. Uh huh. Of course it's him.

Jutu, one reason the Governor continues to fight and stay in office and most likely will remain, although guilty as sin, is that most of his base, the Democrats don't really give a care and the others are just so mind numb and can be programmed to believe what they will and never think on their own that when the media doesn't report it then it doesn't exist.

As for when it happens to a Republican or Conservative you have the Lap Dogs ("D" is highlighted for reason) who whenever anything is mentioned about a Conservative they go yapping endlessly as if whatever was alleged was the end of the world and continue chasing their tails, so to say, until the person relents and gives in.  I believe when there is a problem, Democrat or Republican they both deserve to face the same penalty and have equal justice but that doesn't exist today.  May never!    Just look at how Hillary skated on sure felonies whereas Trump is in the battle for his Presidency over something he never did and has been proven he, nor his campaign, ever did.  There is no comparison to the two inquiries either.  Hillary's escapades were well documented so there was no doubt that she, or someone on her behalf, deleted emails and wiped out hard drives and that she had a private server on her own property that she did business from and that's not even getting into the issues with Benghazi that never were solved as well as the interviews with the justice Dept where she was able to have lawyers in with her, was never put under oath, and never was a special counselor named nor subpoenas honored and served.

With Trump, based entirely on a known false dossier that was paid for by opposition parties, a Special Counsel was named and millions of dollars spent and the Special Investigator had a group of investigators that were entirely Trump hating paid assassins looking for anything but found nothing.   With Hillary there was plenty there but it was cast out and forgiven all because they said she didn't intend to do what she did.  She was guilty of offenses that were actual felonies but she didn't intend to do it so she was let off.  Trump never did anything but still is being hounded and there is attempts to impeach him over things he never did.  The main charge, now, is he obstructed Justice by verbally stating, although not doing, his intent to fire the investigator investigating things he never did.   An innocent man complains about those trying to wrongly accuse him so he is guilty of offense that warrants his impeachment but the true guilty goes free of her felonious acts because others said she didn't intend to do the felonies.

Talk about not being able to dream up something.   There are differences in the way the two parties politicians are treated.  One of the parties makes their members hold the line and resign if guilty the other covers up or looks over offenses and hardly ever requires their politicians to resign or quit.  There are some exceptions and not all are treated that way but if a certain parties members don't want to go then usually they can remain in their jobs and all is forgiven.  Al Frankin was an exception and did resign but so many haven't or didn't.  I'm also sure that there will be some that take exception to this but if they do I hope they will provide examples and evidence to back up their claims.

The forum hypocrite strikes again. That took all of two minutes to disprove. Whining about Democrats while Republicans get a free pass is ridiculous.

John Conyers (D–MI)

Dean of the United States House of Representatives Congressman John Conyers of Michigan was found to have allegedly paid a settlement of $27,000 to a former member of his staff, who had accused him of sexual assault.[46] BuzzFeed reported on this settlement on November 20, 2017, based on documents from Mike Cernovich including accounts of other ethical concerns associated with Conyers's office such as sexual harassment of other female staffers.[47][48][49] Conyers responded to these reports, saying, "In our country, we strive to honor this fundamental principle that all are entitled to due process. In this case, I expressly and vehemently denied the allegations made against me, and continue to do so. My office resolved the allegations — with an express denial of liability — in order to save all involved from the rigors of protracted litigation."[50]

On November 21, 2017, the House Ethics Committee launched an investigation into multiple sexual harassment allegations against Conyers.[51] Reports of a second woman accusing Conyers of sexual harassment appeared later in November 2017. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who had initially stated that Conyers was an "icon" and had done a great deal to protect women,[52] called upon Conyers to resign, and called the allegations against him "very credible", as did House Assistant Democratic Leader Jim Clyburn.[53]

On December 5, he resigned from Congress

Trump, Kavanaugh, Barton.... all accused of sexual harassment and Republicans defended them instead of investigating. Two still serving. One didn't run for re-election.

Then we have Michelle Obama interfering in the Smollet case via her ex chief of staff...and getting the charges dropped.

Chicago attorney Tina Tchen — who was in contact with Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx before the charges were dropped against former “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett — refused to be served with a subpoena on Wednesday, according to the process server.

Tchen, who previously served as former First Lady Michelle Obama’s chief of staff, refused to accept a subpoena that was issued by former Illinois Appellate Judge Sheila O’Brien.

O’Brien is petitioning for the appointment of a special prosecutor to look into the state’s attorney’s office’s handling of the Smollett case. She is calling for Tchen to attend a May 31 hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse and bring with her copies of “any and all documents, notes, phone records, texts, tape recordings made or received at any time, concerning [Tchen’s] conversations with Kim Foxx in re: Jussie Smollett.”

Edward Ryan, who operates a private investigation firm in the southwest suburbs, said one of his process servers went to Tchen’s law firm in River North on Wednesday, but she refused to come to the lobby to accept the subpoena.

Ryan said the security guard in the building’s lobby would not let the process server upstairs. The guard called Tchen in her office and “she said she knew about” the subpoena, but refused to come down.

“I don’t know why she’d turn it down. She’ll be served eventually,” Ryan said.

Neither Tchen nor the law firm she works at responded to requests for comment Wednesday.

Tchen has previously denied any effort to sway the outcome of the Smollett case. In a statement in March, she said: “Shortly after Mr. Smollett reported he was attacked, as a family friend, I contacted Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx, who I also know from prior work together. My sole activity was to put the chief prosecutor in the case in touch with an alleged victim’s family who had concerns about how the investigation was being

characterized in public.”

O’Brien is requesting a special prosecutor to look into the state’s attorney’s decision to abruptly drop disorderly conduct charges against Smollett, who, police said, staged a hate crime attack against himself as a way to enhance his own public profile.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported in February that Tchen passed Foxx’s number to a relative of the actor before the charges were dropped. Foxx has acknowledged that she tried to persuade Police Supt. Eddie Johnson to turn the investigation over to the FBI after the family member expressed concerns regarding leaked information about the investigation —

information that media outlets attributed to “police sources.”

After police determined that Smollett was not a victim and allegedly staged the attack, Foxx cited her conversations with the family member and other communications as the reason she recused herself from Smollett’s prosecution.
