Its expensive to put on any kind of festival, especially the Keller....The Keller Committee should have been charging admission for years, plus a fee for parking. Its this revenue that allows the festival to be better each year. I know for a fact the leaders of the keller committee, were very hesitate about charging any admission. However, the cost has gotten so expensive they have no alternative but to do so...

Its the ones who have never contributed anything, in anyway, any how, to the keller festival except place their fat butt on the lawn chair at the park during the festival, who squeal the most about having to pay an admission...
The day of the keller freeby is over...Don't want to contribute towards its success...simply stay at home and save yo mo...no one will feel hard about ya...heck! you probably won't even be missed...
Since the beef has begun, I'll add mine.
Tuscumbia should not allow parking along the parade route.

1) It pushes all the candy-receivers (kids) right out into the street when they could be nearer the curb and more out of harm's way.
2) Last year, I called the mayor's office to express this concern and was told that the merchants would not like it at all if parking was not allowed in front of their businesses.
I was shocked at this response.

So, (signing) I-N-C-O-M-E is more important than S-A-F-E-T-Y ? Amazing...
I have seen the re-enactment several times over the years. They always do an outstanding job. It is something everyone should see at least once in their lifetime.

As for the headliners and opening acts. So long as the festival doesn't serve beer -- Hillbilly Delux will be a great show. Once some of them get to drinking -- it's terrible. I agree they could have gotten a better headliner, but BC isn't that bad...I agree though, most of the "same ol same ol" is the reason I don't go anymore.

Sorry to disappoint Stay In It, but yes it is out already...hence the discussion of Billy Currington and Hillbilly Delux...It may not be set in stone, but the schedule is out -- it is less than 2 months away...they even state the site is being updated. When you look at the schedule it says 2007, but when you look at Entertainment the people are different...many of the events are the same place and same time every year therefore it looks like it is last years schedule, but they repeat the artists every year as well...
