First, Magpie, thank you for apologizing concerning the girl. That was both polite and the right thing to do. You rise in my esteem for doing so.
Second, I make no comments about anything or anyone unless they are considered public figures (or in rebuttal on here). If I offer a service for money (tours), then you have every right to criticize the service I offer. If I request donations for a project and you give money or contemplate giving money, you have every right to ask where the money is going.
Third, while I do own half The Connection (a magazine--not a blog), I am not responsible for 100% of its content. If you would like to write for us or offer a rebuttal to anything in the comment section, please feel free. That goes for anyone else reading this. We offer varied opinions and don't censor except for libel, etc. So far, that has included only one comment in 10 months of operation.
Goodness fire the floor jacks and 6x6 timbers cost 2400 bucks. I’ll bet there has not been that much total that has been taken out there.

1. Stating a fact isn't bragging. I use my talent to be a Christian apologist among other things. I also use it in one of my real jobs--you know, it's called work, something some people do to make money. Magpie works, NSNS works, Uno works, Joy works, etc.
2. Sweetwater? You didn't want to get into it but you mentioned it? I was being nice by not mentioning all their problems in my post but here goes. Do you support people who lie and cheat? Who lie that a 17 year-old girl exposes herself? Who lie that people with more talent in their little finger than their entire group has vandalized SW, among other things? If I say nothing, don't you think God just might ask me why I didn't stand up for at least the girl who apparently never wanted to do anything but help. My interest in Sweetwater is to see that it is saved. It's not being saved now. Anyone who doesn't try to bring attention to this should not cry and moan when it's torn down. If you don't take a stand you have no right to criticize what happens to the old home.
3. Yes, you laugh at others. Oh, where you say? Most of your posts run something like this: He's not responsible because of his mental condition.

Instead of applying this to FV, you might want to remember what Magpie/Ramm/Buffalo/GSMAN does repeatedly. FV is a nice lady.

That quote could apply to most any of us at one time or another. If Fire talked about you behind your back, said rude/untrue things about you & it got back to you, would you still say she's a nice lady? I like you, enjoy reading your post & none of us will always agree about the character of some

Thank you for explaining how you see my using those smiley faces. I've never meant to use them in a way to laugh at someone. Sometimes it's hard to know how the written word is meant. If I write something that could be taken in a rude or harsh way, I will use a smiley face to show I meant it in a friendly manner. I will be more careful in that aspect from now on. I appreciate your kindness in bringing that to my attention.
