Does anyone actually READ this FEEDBACK section? There has been many great ideas and opinions that SEEM to be falling on deaf ears.

From what I can tell, there is no monitoring of the catagories, nor of this ONE catagory that is supposed to get some answers.

Maybe TD needs to hire someone, to sit on the computer (even from home) and just keep an eye on the forums to take SUGGESTIONS seriously, and to do something about them???

I am just flabbergasted at the lack of NO actions at all...

Newspapers, which have made their living exercising the First Amendment (free speech, press, etc.) are probably not likely to restrict anything here except profanity.

It isn't the restrictions I have a problem with Miamizsun... it is the many suggestions, that not only doesn't happen, but doesn't EVEN get acknowledged, ya know?

I don't know their policy, but I'm sure someone is monitoring what is said here. The NYT owns a lot of papers (msg boards inc.) and if they made a change to one, it may effect all of them.

This is a test. This is only a test. This is a test of the message board monitoring system. The message boards in your area have put together this system to protect the public from bogus messages. If this had been an actual bogus message you would have not seen it. This concludes this test of the message board monitoring system.

I think they do read the posts. I think they get as much entertainment out of watching everyone get all in a tizzy about things instead of just going with the flow and I think they get a good laugh out of it. I don't think they will restrict much unless like someone else said it is profanity or nudity or something of that nature. THe fact that people are posting on the site and enjoying it is gravy to them and they have created a good thing so why mess it up with rules and regulations.

If you want them to hire someone to sit and watch the boards all and delete the ones that are repeats and the ones that are not up to standard -- go talk to them face to face and offer your services free of charge -- I'm sure they will take you up on it. as far as hiring someone and paying them to do so? Hello, this is the TD we are talking about. Don't hold your breath.

Let it go. THe ones you are complaining about will get tired of things and will eventually go away if you ignore it, but if every time they post you jump on them or start another thread to talk about them -- you are feeding their ego and they will continue.

However, everyone was complaining about pba doing this stuff and now it is EdEKit that is doing more of it? Just an observation. I reply when I have something to say and observe when I don't -- this is better than watching kids on a playground fight over the swings...

Personally I think they have provided a very nice board and site as a whole without charging a subscription fee as other do. I don't do very much for nothing and normally don't expect others to either. Perhaps it will get bad enough that someone will take all of the good suggestions and create their own BB.

Most normal people don't have time to sit around and read message boards all day. Most posters are retired and or drawing checks.

traderconnections put in a suggestion to make a FOODTALK section, and it was done within days...

MY suggestion to put a Political Section in so that the MAIN BOARD could be for local and state issues, or just plain fun has been ignored. I have SEVERAL members who also has backed me up on that suggestion.

I was not talking RESTRICTING here.... I WAS TALKING SUGGESTIONS.... they need to be read, just as we had to sign OUR agreements to be here.
