9. SOFTWARE LICENSES

9.1 You shall have no rights to the proprietary software and related documentation, or any enhancements or modifications thereto, provided to you in order to access the Service ("Access Software"). You may not sublicense, assign or transfer any licenses granted by timesdaily.com, and any attempt at such sublicense, assignment or transfer shall be null and void. You may make one copy of such software for archival purposes only. You may not otherwise copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from Access Software.

This appears to be a typical end user license agreement that you must agree to before using a particular piece of software. I didn't think anyone read those.

I suspect the TD has made some slight modifications to the Eve software and don't want it stolen or used elsewhere without permission/compensation.
