hellothere just because i dont speak mexican just means you dont understand southen language. So you and you very dumb intelligent husband that you been together with for 10 years can be just as happy elsewhere. By the way is that a picture of you or your husband on the picture at the top of the page. If not probably something one of you stole. You said he was a legal alien. Maybe he's from mars then. You two smoke some more of your pot and stay happy but somewhere else. By the way you said people stared at you when you was talking about the illegals. So he is either mexican't, ugly, weights 400 pounds or all the above, and sounds like you two awr a perfect match!

Mexican isn't a language you idiot! I was born and raised in the south and I sure as heck know how to spell. We're happy right here where we are in North Alabama. Until this law passed we weren't stared at so I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with anything other than the color of his skin! I'll take my hard working, great husband, great father, who isn't a bigot any day over a poorly educated southern redneck. I'm southern by the grace of God but thank the same God that I'm not a redneck like you! Unless you can look in the mirror and see a 100% NATIVE AMERICAN then you're from a long line of immigrants yourself so why do you look up your family tree and see what's in it?

Troy Oliver said Hispanic businesses are a factor in Franklin County’s economy, and if they were to shut down completely, it would make an impact. Doesn’t sound like one that will be enforcing this law.
Wilmes said she wonders why are people looking at her, that she feels something here that she never felt in her country. Then why live here?
Gutierrez said he doesn’t understand how the governor, who says he loves God, can back a law like this. What does God have to do with this law?
Before he can renew his business license, he must provide, in person, a valid Driver’s License, valid government-issued identification card or valid passport.
He said he’s a documented immigrant. If that’s the case, why was he sad over having to supply what’s required?
I have no problem with these people being here legality, but if they’re going to live here, & take all the freebies, they should be made to learn the language.
As for the comments, some should be deleted. But obviously the paper is in favor of doing away with the law.
I don't know Cliff Wright or what kind of law he practices, but though this was a good comeback.

___________
Cliff Wright speaks fluent Spanish and because of that has a fairly large Hispanic clientele.
IF,these people want to live and work in this country,Come here legal not illegal.Go through the legal
system as other people who enter the USA do,Pay into our ss/system pay taxes to help run our local
gov.Learn to speak the english language so you will be able to communicate with other people who live here, work here.Buy insurance ,health,auto,(e.t.c.).don't come here illegal wanting everthing free, people who are here legal have worked hard for these benefits. The business people love to have you come here illegal so they can work you for 1/2 or even less than 1/2
wage's than what people live here legal make.So go back to your country you came from and apply to come here legal.
It's pretty bad when a paper ASKS for public comment regarding a story it printed, then DENIES ACCESS to said comments because they go against the feelings of the reporter, paper, etc. Par for the course for the TD these days.....
