A few years ago I moved my homeowners insurance to another well known company. I did not initially sign up for earthquake coverage and decided to add it a few weeks ago. I was told that this company and many others no longer write policies that include earthquakes (this occured after Katrina). It appears that the companies are starting to eliminate natural disasters. Next, they will be excluding fires starting by lightening, wind damage from tornadoes and hail damage to our vehicles. Anyone else encountered this problem?
