HB642 passed out of committee yesterday! The Michael Phillips Compassionate Care Act will now go to the full house for a vote. There are only a few days left in this legislative session and may mean this bill will not get a vote. HOWEVER, this made it out of committee...which by itself is a miracle. One step closer.

Yeah, keep the iron hot. Who knows what will happen the political world now days. Who would believed what was elected as President. Going to hell in a hand basket and no looking back. May as well throw cocaine and meth in the bill for good measure.

Hey! Let's toss in "alcohol" too!...But wait...that's been legal for years now.

OK...lets criminalize the use of morphine???
After all, it comes from a "illegal drug"...from a legal plant"
Let all those terminal cancer patients take "Tylenol" huh?

Morphine
"Morphine is the naturally occurring opioid in the opium poppy, Papaver somniferum. It is a powerful narcotic analgesic, and its primary clinical use is in the management of moderately severe to severe pain. After heroin, morphine has the greatest potential for addiction of all narcotic analgesics." Gale Encyclopedia of Medicine. Copyright 2008 The Gale Group, Inc. All rights reserved.
