What's the best prank phone call you have ever made?

I once saw an ad in the paper for a free half calico cat, I called to ask which half, the one that eats or the one that chits.

I once got a solicitation call during dinner from someone named Elvis. I was so stuck on the fact that this guys name was really Elvis that I didn't hear a word he said during the three minute schpiel he gave me, but I let him finish. When he asked me if I was interested or whatever, I said in my lowest southern drawl "No, but thank ya. Thank ya very much." My husband just stared at me and asked me what in the world that was all about. When I told him the solicitors name was Elvis, he almost choked to death.
Oh, my hubby just loves messing with phone solicators. One I remember was a guy trying to sell him a long distance calling card. He said he didn't want it because he had to report to prison in three days and wouldn't be able to use it. The guy didn't miss a beat telling my hubby he would need it in prison to call his wife, he said "that's why I'm going to prison, attempted murder of my wife and I don't think she will take my calls now" the caller still didn't stop trying to make the sale, they went back and forth a good 10 minutes, I was rolling on the floor laughing and I don't know how my sweetie kept a straight face.

I remember Willie P doing one to a hospital nursery saying his daughter brought home the wrong baby, said it looked like a Mexican baby and not a black baby and he wanted to come down and swap it for the right baby because he was afraid they couldn't teach it how to speak english.

That's the one...you just have a better memory than mine. I swear, I thought I was going to have to pull over that morning on the way to work. SLAYED me.

Do you remember them playing that cute elderly woman's voice they had played a prank on at one time or another - "No, I don't know. I wished I di-id"? Smiler
