I'm going to explain to you exactly how homeopathy works.

Now, has everybody had chemistry, like, in school -- way back when? But you do know what H2O is? And have all of you heard of Einstein? Well, you know that light is energy, right? And he gave us the theory that energy equals mass times the speed of light. E equals M C squared. Now, if you take that formula, and, we think there's a lot of mass, right? OK, if you collapsed all the mass down into the universe, so there's no space between the mass, do you know how much mass there is in the entire universe? You think you're a lot of mass right? Well, the whole universal mass can be consolidated down into the size of a bowling ball. That's all there is in the whole world, and the universe! So how much mass are you? That's right -- an infinitesimal amount. So if you take that formula -- E equals M C squared -- you can almost cross out mass! The formula ends up being energy equals the speed of light. And that's why the vision system is so important because we have lots of photoreceptors that receive light.

But when Einstein died, the scientists didn't fall in his camp, and the pieces of the puzzle didn't fit well together. So God in his infinite wisdom sent another Einstein called Stephen Hawkings. And Stephen Hawkings gave us the string theory. And what he discovered is that there are other energetic particles in the universe, and they're shaped like little youees [U-shaped?] and what they do is they work by vibration. So our body is so wonderfully designed, we have light receivers, and ears, string -- vibratory -- they pick up vibration. So if you add that to that theory -- Einstein's theory of relativity -- we have E equals M C squared (but mass is crossed out, almost) and strings -- vibration.

But that still doesn't tell us the whole picture, because, what is a cell? A cell has cell walls, cell membranes, cytoplasm. Is that mass? Not very much really, so what is that? You can break down the cells into tiny pieces of energy called electrons, protons, neutrons. So the whole body has an infinitesimal amount of mass, but what is the remainder? Energy. So I am energy, you are energy. Now, if you go to study physics, energy cannot be created: we do not know how to create energy. But we don't know how to destroy it either -- that is not humanly possible. So what we do is take energy and we transform it from one state to another. That's all we do. So if that's all we do, guess what the definition of disease is. It's not mass. We have transformed our energy state into something different. That's what the definition of disease is. So we should be able to re-transform our energy into a previous better state. Right? And, what we do is we use light, we can use sound, we can use homeopathy.

So what is homeopathy? Well, if nothing is really mass (or an infinitesimal amount of it) and everything is energy, that means everything has a vibration to it. So what if I could, encase some sort of energy for later use? So if I wanted to make a bomb, and I took all these chemicals, and I encased it in a, you know, a bomb, and tonight, my neighbour lets his dog poop in my yard, literally, and and I'm mad at that dog and my neighbor. So I'm going to take this bomb and get back at him. So what if I threw that bomb at his house. Would he be happy with me? Because what happens now when that energy is released? It destroys something, or changes it. It makes the building now not in structure form. It changes its energetic state. Well that's what we do with homeopathy. We take substances, and we pulverize them, we and we put them in solution, and we surcuss[sp?] it just like the bomb, to release its energy into this liquid. Then we take these little white pellets, and sprinkle them with that solution. Then guess what we have just made. An energetic substance -- to be used when we choose to use it.

So, how homeopathy works is, whatever your disease process is, it's an energetic change, and if I can find the remedy that matches your state and give it to you when we so choose, what can we do with your energy system? Transform it to a previous better state.

And that's how it works.

Now we know. I can't wait to learn about astrology.

I am so happy to help!

An astrological chart can be a wonderful tool, a marvelous means of gaining insight into who we are as a person. Reading the astrological chart and having it interpreted correctly is the only way to be able to use this tool effectively.

Many people think that their “sun sign” is the only important sign to know and little do they realize that it is a mere piece of the astrological pie, so to speak. We are complex beings, made up of all the elements and it is important to combine all of them in order to truly function at the level of which we are capable. The world around us needs a combination of things to ensure the continuation of life and we are exactly the same. If you over water a plant you can kill it. Too much or too little fresh air and sunlight may or may not damage the plant. We are just another expression of nature, except that we have arms and legs.

Here’s an example for you. A young lady has her sun in Taurus, her Moon and her Venus in Aries and her ascendant (or rising sign) in Libra. We’ll go one further and say that all these planets fall into her seventh house.

Can you imagine what this young lady’s Achilles heel might be? What her downfall and her soft spot are?

The answer is love. The reason being that her Moon (who she is on the inside, her deepest darkest self) is in Aries, a fiery passionate sign prone to impulse. Her Venus is also in Aries and her rising sign Libra (the ultimate lover here). They are all in or near enough to the seventh house which rules love and partners, to just about control every aspect of her being until she has been properly ‘broken in’ just like you would a wild horse.

I hope this clears up your confusion, Crusty. I recommend you go see a reputable psychic today.

Reputable.
I agree with F350. The people who sell this stuff should be arrested and jailed. My wife spent a fortune on this junk (against my will), and I can still remember her crying when she finally realized she had been duped in a most cruel fashion. To sell pseudo cures to people ailing with hard to treat or untreatable conditions is one of the most heinous of crimes against mankind. To see someone have so much hope, and then have it dashed by someone just out to make a buck on another's suffering is heartbreaking. Several posters have made jokes about this subject, and I have no problem with them doing so (I'm quite a cutup myself), but I have seen firsthand the devastation these quack cures cause to someone who is desperate for a real cure, and believe me, there is nothing funny about it.

Been there, done that. Those spirits were scary.

I've learned so much here, starting with phrenology and now homeopathy and astrology. Chinese herbology is next up, can you help with that, too?
Lemme' see if'n I kin 'splain it fer' ya'!

The (kooky) theory is that the lesser the concentration of a thing, the more powerful it is.

In other words, a microdrip placed into a tub containing all the waters of the oceans and seas of the world is the most powerful solution.

It's utter lunacy, and an outright fraud!

Time and time again it has been debunked by the scientific gold standard, "Double Blind Placebo Controlled Studies."

On the other hand, there is a growing body of scientific evidence that suggests AND demonstrates that Chinese medicine and other venues of traditional medicine which use herbs, do have some merit.

Consider, for example, Red Yeast Rice. It is a naturally occurring statin, and has demonstrated to lower cholesterol, as has Niacin, a 'B' vitamin.

[But I won't try to do a smoke-n-mirrors bamboozle of you in the process. I'll just tell you the truth... whether you like it, or not!]
Thanks Shoals Lover. We aren't talking about anything that can be demonstrated, and "Double Blind Placebo" is obviously a catch phrase of the "scientific" community that is supposed to confuse us into submission to their supposedly superior intellect, while they cynically and mercilessly gouge us, so they can play golf every Wednesday.

Aromatherapy, anyone?

Double blind placebo, whatever you might ignorantly say about it, is a scientifically-valid and appropriate methodology for determining the efficacy of a particular medical treatment. It is not some scheme or device by the established medical community to deceive the public. Your apparent objection to it is that it shows homeopathy to be a bogus and quack form of "treatment." Go ahead and believe what you want, but your depiction of the double blind placebo concept is laughable!
My apologies to all for presuming that all knew what "Double Blind Placebo Controlled" studies meant.

Here's the low down:

"Double Blind" means that neither researcher(s) nor subject know what modality of treatment they're receiving.

"Placebo Controlled" means that there is a group of people whom receive a placebo (an inert substance which has no known medical benefit nor detrimental affects... such as sand, sugar, etc.).

At the end of the study, there is a coded list, available only to a third party throughout the duration of the study, whom then shares the key with researchers whom use it to identify whom received what treatment, either placebo, or medication.

Throughout the study, scrupulously copious notes are made, so that when the results are in, the researchers may see exactly and with certainty who responded positively, negatively or indifferently to the treatment regimen.

The long and short of it is, if you have the "gabungza" (a fictitious ailment) and report that your symptoms have improved, and it was later discovered that you received placebo, it is most likely that remission could have been spontaneous, or that the power of your mind had some effect in your "recovery."

It's called "mind over matter" in certain circles. In other circles, it's called the "Placebo Effect."

You feel better because you believe you're being effectively treated.

{Personal Note: I'm still working on my placebo formula. When it's available, I'll notify the FDA and with their blessing, market it with the caveat "this substance is neither designed to treat or cure any disease, or symptom." I'll call it "Placebo" and make 7.3 Gazillion rupees. Our 24-hour toll-free lines will be housed in call centers in the heart of Waziristan, or somewhere in India... perhaps Bhopal. Then, we'll have an IPO, sell boatloads of the stock, pay high dividends, split it, dump our own stock, then take the cash and run, while the stuff tanks!

Whoops? Am I sounding like a Republican? OMG!}

OMG!!!!! My head is about to explode. But you are right. It is all about mind over matter. I think you are trying to make fun of me. I had gabungza once, and I know the only way to get rid of it is a high yeast, low protein diet, along with stuffing warm moss in my shoes at night.

Laugh all you want Mr. Egg-Head. But I'm not wasting my money on quacks and their money grubbing "medicine". It's just a cover for the fact that they really don't know anything, and are the pawns of their puppet-masters, the drug companies. Give me magnets any day.

Stop by the local state ABC store. They got plenty of "warm and fuzzies" there for a lot less, plus you are more likely to be cured.

So true, but I consider that preventative medication. Sometimes you have to call in the specialists. Like ear candles, when you have too much ear wax.
