Mama's cooking! OOOOoo Yeah! Big Grin I'm thankful for turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, hot apple cider, and fried pies!

No, seriously, I'm thankful that no matter how tragic life is (just lost my brother-in-law at the age of 42 and sister left to raise 3 kids), God gives peace that passes all understanding.

I'm thankful for my family and my church family, who I can depend on to be there for me no matter what.

I'm thankful for true friends, which are a treasure beyond measure.

I'm thankful for Agatha Christie and Francine Rivers...haha...no I'm not kidding.

And last but far from least...I'm thankful for the Savior, Lover and Healer of my soul. Thank you, Lord, for giving me abundant life and making me spiritually rich.
First of all I thank God for each and everything. I am thankful to all or our service members. These (kids) do a great job in some not so great places. I am thankful for our President and the fact that he didnt allow the war on terror to continue on US soil. I am thankful for Centercut Tenderloins, Fine Cigars and Dogs.

Would you please share a few items?

Have you ever opened your house and/or family to a stranger during this time?

I think perhaps this thread was forgotten. Would anyone like to share what you're thankful for? And don't be gross! (that's for Uber, Heads Up and possibly NashBama...haha. I'm kidding!!)

BTW, there's no one "stranger" than my family.
I have much to be thankful for today:

I am thankful that the LORD is good, and His love endures forever. (Psm 118) Smiler
(Of personal particular interest is v. 1, 3, 5-8)

I am thankful that even in the midst of the storms of life, He is faithful and promises that He will never leave me nor forsake me. (Jos 1:5)

I am thankful He has given me a hope and a future. (Jer 29:11)

I am thankful for those I love, for those who bless my life with their love and support, and even for those who do not. I am thankful for "one nation under God," and those who serve it and Him.
Wow, what a great topic.

I'm thankful for God who continues to bless my life beyond whatever I can imagine,
the freedom of free speech to speak out on forums such as these,
the freedom to worship,
groceries on the shelves,
leftovers,
my family,
my husband's service in Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom,
our wonderful son,
our police officers, fire fighters, and EMTs,
a large Southern BBQ sandwich, with a sweet tea,
summer time,
friends,
softball,
and basketball.
There's more, but I have a green bean cassarole to retrieve from the oven.
