Study on humor
What do you think of this study? I have one octogenarian grandmother who doesn't get jokes at all and thinks things are funny that are not. My other grandmother who just passed at 87 was a sharp wit and not only cracked jokes but understood other people's jokes.
One of my best friends, who died in his seventies, could tell the best and randiest jokes, but he didn't get jokes when other people told them.
I don't find this to be true with friends my own age. However, my grandmother who doesn't get jokes has never gotten them and I've known her since she was my age.
Your thoughts??
I think it depends on the person and their innate sense of humor more so than their age.
