When the Chief of Tuscumbia was arrested for DUI, it was in the papers, but when a former Captain was let go because of the same problems with the abuse of alcohol it was kept hush, hush, why is that?
Just speculation but which side of the river did the captain have his problems? Law enforcement tend to protect their own. The chief was out of his element in Florence. Had the incident happened in Tuscumbia it would have been brushed under the rug, no report, no arrest, no news story.

If it was hush, hush, how do you know it happened?
Isayso...come on...I guess the reason it wasn't in the paper, is because there wasn't a arrest. If someone has a drinking problem in another profession, is it reported in the paper? I guess the reason the first person you mentioned was in the paper is because he was arrested. Why do people enjoy keeping something going...This person you mentioned hasn't been on the job in many months.
