This forum discussion particularly goes out in protest against the blatantly liberal, name calling rhetoric that PBA fills the forums with on a daily basis. Even though I lean to the right on most issues I think liberals and democrats should be heard and I even agree every once in a while.
I am just sick of the opiniationated articles brought about every day that say George Bush is a liar or the Repubican party is mean and doesn't like poor people. How about some articles with substance? Not an article from capitalhillblue.com which makes no effort to show which side they represent. I am sure I could find some right wing crap that says Nancy Pelosi is a witch. However, I think that we are all smart enough to know that is not true and I feel that I would be wasting everyone's time.
PBA, I enjoy much of your discussions although I may not agree with most of it. I like the fact that you are trying to bring about discussion but how about doing this through cold, hard facts and your own beliefs not the opinions of someone paid by a certain political party.
Here we go again!!!
None of my post are paid political parties, you should know, that times daily would not allow that. Anyway,I try to post stuff that is making news or history and such, You say Nancy Pelosi is a witch, thats cool its your opinion.
You see, I can handle what you throw out about the democrats because I agree with you. The democrats are all corporate democrats. So when you cut down the democrats, you don't bother me at all. If I feel that a couple of democrats are in the right, I may post my thoughts as to how I feel about the issues.
As far as the republicans, I don't hate republicans. Especially the moderates. It's those far right jerks that get to me. People like yourself. You want freedom but you don't want me to have freedom. You don't want me to knock Bush. You don't want me to remind people of the S & L scandle back in the Reagan days. You wouldn't want me to knock your hero, Oliver North. You don't want me to post anything about the Watergate scandle.
And I know you would really flip out if I posted something about the Foley scandle. And you would really flip out if I brought up something about the preacher that President Bush was good friends with that was caught in the closet. But I think you have a good point here. I need to bring up some of these democrat scandles as well. I did not agree with what Clinton did and I did not approve of him messing up the oval office floor, because I paid taxes to have that cleaned and I just didn't appreciate it at all. Clinton is just as bad as any of them. He's just a corporate democrat. But let's look at things in a civil manner here. I'm for a third party. I want America back. I don't want you to be screwing with my freedom. I don't appreciate some board members in here telling me what I can and can't do. No one attacks your posts and again, I know who your group is. I respect the rules and regulations that TimesDaily has set aside and I will follow those rules. But everybody has the freedom to post as long as it's decent, newsworthy. I mean, some of you people want to talk about milk and cookies, somebody wants to talk about resturants. Well, I don't go around cutting your posts down because you post something I don't care to talk about.
If it doesn't interest me, I don't open the post to read it. You just have a few conservatives in here that just don't like it when their party is being discussed and if you disagree with the president of the United States, all of a sudden, everybody wants to distance themselves from you. Well, my friend, this is America and in America you have the right to disagree with your government, especially if they are in the wrong. God says you are to abide by the laws of the land, but does that mean, if they are in the wrong? I wouldn't think so. Anyway, I didn't mean to get carried away here. But think about what you are saying to me and what if I was saying the same to you? The posts are not advertisements. There's always a link to carry you back to the post, although, I have made the mistake in a couple of my posts and left out the link, which I came back later and posted the link. You're not dealing with somebody that fell off the turnip truck yesterday. But anyway, I will try to put up some posts that you can get into, putting down the democrats for a change. I would like to see people get off this democrat/republican kick and attack the crooked politicians on both sides of the aisle. You know, the one's we keep putting back in, time and time again. Anyway, that's my thoughts. Don't take offense to it. But I am not getting into this post thing again. I'm sick and tired of it. And if it comes up again, we just all need to meet at TimesDaily office and talk about it.
