He gave up 25 billion for the wall and settled for 1.4. Claimed Mexico was going to pay for it. Now it's a national emergency. Just a con man doing what con men do.
Naio, I suspect your knowledge of federal fiscal law is limited. The bill you referred to gave a promise of $25 billion for a DACA deal. That's the same promise the Democrats gave Reagan for the amnesty bill. Reagan's still waiting. Unless there is an appropriation (legal fiscal term) that's all it is a promise. If, the Democrats had made it an appropriation bill, Trump would have signed it in a minute, I suspect. Remember, he recently offered a DACA extension for only $5.7 billion and was rejected. FYI, an appropriation bill must go thru the House, first.
Proof Republicans can't see facts. Trump rejected a DACA deal and $20 billion on January 11 and 19 , 2018. One a bipartisan deal with Lindsay Graham and **** Durbin. One offer from Chuch Schumer. You can have your own opinion, but you can't have your own facts.
The money was not offered up front; it was offered over 10 years or 10 annual budgets. Reagan and the first Bush were both burned by dems giving something for a promise of future action by lying dems.
Pretty much correct, Stanky. I explained the technicalities of federal fiscal law. Yet, the Demmies, here ignored it. Proof that they have no interest in the truth, only left wing propaganda. As I've explained, I was in the Army Finance Corps. We were taught fiscal law at the Army's Finance school. After my active service, I took further courses while in the Army Reserve.
I'm watching a documentary on Bernie Madoff's fraudulent practices. SEC let him off a couple of times, even when provided with the proof of his practices. Bernie dealt with lawyers, as the SEC has few auditors. Auditors would have checked Bernie's statements. Lawyers didn't. Plenty of liberal lawyers at SEC. Few auditors, usually conservative, at the SEC.
