since most atheists are advocates for abortion  I just wonder how they feel about the worth of their own life.

Why would the atheist even want to carry a child to term when they believe the child would just eventually die possibly a painful death and thats the end?

There many incisistencies in their claims. Why wouldn't the atheist want a life after death?

I was going to answer that, so I put on my atheist hat and my mind went

blank, then I heard a voice that said, " just cut the dammm grass".

So I feel a lot better now.

Get back on your medication, then review your Sapolsky lectures.

The warthog is clueless. I don't know ant atheists who advocate abortion. None. Would he please offer some examples? He should probably confine his comments to subjects about which he has knowledge. Also, what are "inconsistencies"? This is a religious term that I haven't heard about. I googled it and Google said, " See ignorant statements by church people."

crust

Thanks for advice but I have extensive notes on Sapolsky lectures that I often refer to.

I hope you listened to everything this man has said or written. I know he proclaims to be an atheist but I know better. He’s much to smart to be one.

No, buf....but there are some days I wish you had been.

Far as I know, this life is all I get.  It is priceless.  I will kill to defend it.

The 'mind' where *I* live is supported by the machinery of the body-once the machinery stops, the mind also very shortly thereafter stops.  There is no magical 'spirit' ghostie that keeps going.

Dead is dead. There is nothing after 'dead.'  We're not THAT 'special.'

I have no stance on abortion-it is not my choice to make.

So, as usual, you can't defend your absurd post with any facts.

You my dear li’l man are an advocate of a strain of violence which includes the wholesale taking of what is a human life form.  You  believe in abortion per se and  you continually argue on the behalf of others as humanists whose manifesto II declares the following:

The right to birth control, abortion, and divorce should be recognized. While we do not approve of exploitive, denigrating forms of sexual expression, neither do we wish to prohibit, by law or social sanction, sexual behavior between consenting adults [item SIXTH]

It also includes a recognition of an individual's right to die with dignity, euthanasia, and the right to suicide. [item, SEVENTH]

Heheh. Yeah you right, but it's kinda like throwing rocks at a guy that has Tourette's Syndrome.

Ya never know what the next noise is gonna be-and it's fun to watch.

Crust-0-matic, rest assured that anything I post is not necessarily my idea but it will always be on authority of the likes of Robert Sapolsky. I hope you are not making fun of Sapolsky. Likewise everything Sapolsky says is not just his ideas but are also on authority of some great scientist that someone well read as myself will recognize. I realize the shallowness of most on here[ look at the two posts above] and I give no quarter to ignorance.  Not to say I think you are in that categorie, I don’t sometime. I know 99 per cent of what I post flies right over the head but it is always on good authority. Without exception.

And yet you can't answer the simplest question about a topic that you created. I don't think you understand it yourself. Regardless of the source, crap is still crap. You should stick to subjects that you understand, if any exist.

Is this a fact? What makes you think this? Why would an atheist be for abortion more than a religious person? Why do you assume that being an atheist would make a person not value his own life?

Why would the atheist even want to carry a child to term when they believe the child would just eventually die possibly a painful death and thats the end?

I don't understand. Why do religious people carry a child to full term? They also will die eventually, possibly a painful death.
