If anyone knows of a grown dog that is in need of a good home, then I have a home for it. Smiler

I thought I was moving to an apartment a couple of years ago and when our old dog Maggie died at the age of 16 I decided not to get another dog. We are now staying here and I am longing for a dog to love again.

I also have a 2 year old grandson that spends quite a bit of time with me so it would have to be good with children.

I want a grown dog. No puppies. I just don't have the time or energy for a another baby. I would also like to have a medium to large size dog. I am partial to females, but would take a male.

I am a great pet owner. I keep shots up to date and play everyday. I have always had dogs until now and I am seriously missing one in my life.

If you or someone you know has a dog that needs a new home and lots of love please pm me or tell me here.

Thanks guys. Smiler

Life is short, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made you SMILE!

I have a 5 year old labradoodle, female, brown, house broken, sweet, playful. I am looking for a good home for her if you are interested. She is part poodle and part lab and is allergy free.
She weighs around 45 lbs and is in good health.
She is a house dog but loves the outdoors too.
Please let me know if you may be interested.
I have allergies and I have no problem being around my dog, Coco. She loves cats and children. She is an excellent guard dog and always lets me know if there is a stranger at the door or in the yard. She has a "people" bark and a different bark when she spots another anminal outside. She loves the outside but hates storms. She plays outside and sleeps inside.
I feed her only good quality dogfood. I am going back to work and hate to have to leave her all day alone.
First I would like to thank all of you who offered to help me find a new pet. Kool yours sounds wonderful. So do all of the ones posted. However me and the little one ended up making a trip to the pound yesterday and there he was...I knew it when I saw him. I wanted to think about it some more so we came home and all I could think about all night was that my dog was sitting in a cage looking sad and lonely and I knew I had to go back today and get him.

I am getting things ready for his homecoming and then me and the grandbaby are off to get him.

I sincerely appreciate all the offers and I really hope that you guys find homes for the dogs you have.

The more I thought about it the more I felt I had to rescue one from the pound. My grandson had never been to a pound before and I also thought it would be a good learning experience.

I am soooooo excited about going to get him. We are going to get a new bed for him and some bowls for food and water...maybe a few new toys. Smiler I hope he will be as excited about his new home as we are about him coming to live with us.

Ronnie...preaching to the choir..I am a firm believer in spaying and neutering.

Salty...thanks for the hug. Smiler I love animals and can't imagine a life with out them.

Please help the other dogs that need a home find one. If there is anyone reading this thread that has room for a furry friend check out the ones being offered here and enrich your life with a four legged pal today.

jank, have you tried the pound? That's where I get all my animals. They usually have a wide selection.

That is a great dog..!! We have one in our neighborhood that visits our house when she is lonely and needs attention. She is a beautiful pet and exudes personality.
