I've been hanging around this playground for quite a while now, and nothing changes. Bill keeps posting lies to promote his political agenda, NSNS and Unob keep posting the same old tired accusations without paying any attention to the responses, Windsong keeps telling us we aren't worshipping the right way, and I'm getting tired of it all.

Some of you have become good friends and I will stay around for the next couple of days so that anyone who wants to, can "dialog" (used to be PM on the old forum) me with their email address so we can stay in touch.

Things are getting really busy here at the shop, and I just can't waste any more time in such an unproductive manner. I've got work to do.

So thanks for all the laughs, and I'll see you around sometime maybe. I sincerely wish you all well, and I'll check in from time to time to see what you're all talking about, but I bet that even a year from now, it'll all be the same. Good luck, and goodbye.

I can't say that I blame you O No. I've been thinking along those same lines but there's some people here that I like alot so I stick around. I've noticed there's some that's not posting as much anymore but it may be the new format. The post of Cage & bluetick always tend to make me smile. Bill will never change so I don't know why I even bother with him. He's his greatest fan & Windsong is beginning to sound just like him. I'm going to send you an email so try to keep in touch.

If I am one of those at fault for causing you to leave, I apologize.

ONO is not scared of politics seeweed. She is sick of the religious section. 'Right wing' doesn't have anything to do with it. Unless you mean all left wing loons are atheists and all right wing nuts are fundamentalists.  LOL

You've got my email already but I'm sending a dialog, haven't tried that out yet! Yahoo!

O NO! , I can understand, and respect, your thinking in this matter. It can be quite easy to let the forums take a small "hold", for want of a better word, of you. Even though it is "faceless" it becomes as real at times as having conversations in person. You feel you "know" everyone just as well as actual physical friends. You "connect". That is human nature.

However...you must also know when to "turn it off". Tune out. Take a breather. After all, the forums do not dictate, or affect your actual life. Some aspects and conversation may have some impact, but again...it is not "real" in that sense.

So, if you need to back away, do so with the knowledge that when ever you want / need to drop in you are always welcome....

Then again...you could always take a few shots Myers before / during you forum sessions...say "dam the torpedoes, full speed ahead"... and skip all of the above!

I'm not speechless. Deepfat has reverted to his original, obnoxious, holier- than- thou, know-it-all narcissist attitude of the great atheist on a mission from God-less Dawkins to save the world from his perceived notion of good and evil. You know, where he decides what is right for everybody.

LOL

Because he is getter older, he has less patience and his true self shows through more. The only reason he detests Bill so much is because he sees his mirror image.

ONO, have a great night hon.

Hi Deep,

You look at this video of the universe and see stars, planets, galaxies.   I look at the same thing and see God.  Is our God this big?    I would reverse this also -- and say, "Our God is not that small!"

After all, He created all of this in six days.  When, actually, He could have created it is a split second; but, He chose to do it in six days to set a precedent, a guideline, for us.  Work six days and then rest one day.  Work our domestic animals six days and let them rest for one day.  Plant our fields for six years and let them lay fallow for one year.  All this to make us, our animals, and our lands healthy and productive.

Deep, this makes me think that you would look at a great masterpiece of art -- and only see the paint strokes.  While we would look at the same masterpiece and see the genius behind it.

My Friend, please do not limit yourself to just what you can see in this world, in this life.  Our God is so much greater than all of this  -- and, the eternal life He is offering you is so much more than what the world offers you.

Deep, I would say to you, "Consider the God of the Bible and all He is offering YOU.  Then, accept His offer of eternal life; do not settle for eternal hell when He is offering YOU so much more."

Do not settle for less!  Do not settle for less than eternal life with God.

God bless, have a wonderful, blessed day,

Bill

Bill

If God was so interested in our agricultural well being, why didn't he explain crop rotation?

So Bill, I'm wondering how often you worked a six day week?  My dad was self-employed and worked a 6 day week for years.  Never missed church on the seventh.  Landed him in the psychiatric ward from mental exhaustion.  I'm doubting the precedent.

Really, we know the universe wasn't created in six days, and it wasn't done a mere 6000 years ago, but you go on trying to twist reality to fit the Bible.  God won't be pleased, just befuddled.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply she was "scared" of politics. Only that in this little coroner of the world, there are precious few who advocate for the left in as good enlightened way as she does. With her gone, a really good voice is leaving for our side.

As far as the religion section, I could not care less myself, and I am sorry she does not feel the same way. I seldom read them, and mostly consider the religion section to be for the main purpose of Bill's lies and sermons, and Deep Fat's arguments.

Ono,

i suspect you may find this hard to beleive but i do wish you well.  some people take this forum waaay to seriously but it is just a mental playground for me.  i know for a fact that, with very few exceptions, you folks are not quite what you appear to be in this forum.  most of us are simply wearing virtual haloween masks and letting that little voice inside all of us speak lounder than we would allow in "real" life.  my personna in this forum is just that: a personna.  it's not real - or it is but represents only a very small part of my overall makeup.  you and i would probably be good friends if ever given the opportunity.  i base that on the fact that i really have only 2 enemies on this earth: people who would do real harm to me if they were allowed.  you are not one of those.  you may not like or even respect me but i promise you the feeling is NOT mutual.

take care of yourself and if you ever come back, i promise i will not have changed.

peace.
